Just gorgeous Paul, relaxing and beautiful scenery with some fab commentary on the cruise! If I lived there I would be on that river every day 😁

It's certainly a nice place to be Mel, particularly on a lovely sunny day. There's a well known ice-cream shop there as well! 😁

Thank you Paul for adding me in your video with my art work down the Groves in Chester. What a lovely, tranquil depiction of Chester, look forward to seeing many more of your productions xxxx

I enjoyed the ambient sound in this one - In my videos I can never use it since I'm always chattering on to whoever I'm with hehe but it does give a good immersive feeling when you can have the actual sounds of the place - really feels like we're there with you! Lovely! :)

Glad you enjoyed it, I'm really starting to enjoy using ambient sound - with maybe a bit of music here and there.

Just what's needed when it's grey and wet - a boat trip the Dee on a sunny day, watching the world go by. No rushing, no stress, I can smell the icre-cream. The brass band has a 1960s psychedelic effect, or a scene from The Prisoner. The star of the show is definitely the duck at the end. Very enjoyable, Paul. Thanks.

Really glad you enjoyed the Summer's day cruise. I have the duck on a retainer - she'll be there when I next go with my camera.

Originally born in Cheshire I'd not been to Chester since the late 70's having moved to Canada and developing a massive fear of flying. Finally I managed to get on a plane in July 2009 and visited this beautiful place again. My gosh I forgot how English everything seemed. My family will love this channel thank you Paul for your marvelous filming ,did you need permission to film this? Thanks much.

Congratulations getting that flight in 2009 so you got to visit England again.
I am so pleased you have enjoyed my video and the trip along the River Dee.
I am friendly with the people who run the boat excursions and was lucky enough to make a number of trips along the river to get all the footage and sounds for this video.
On this channel I now mostly film the plants in my garden. If you want to see more of the English wildlife in the garden, including my Robin, I have just started second channel called Paul T Reviews.

Glad you enjoyed looking back at where you used to live.
With so much changing - and so rapidly - it’s nice to see some things stay the same.

Those massive boats can only go up and down the Dee, they can’t access the sea.

    • @paultsworld
      @paultsworld  3 роки тому

That is correct - no boat can access the sea because there is a weir just upstream.

    • @Make_Boxing_Great_Again

Paul T's World Bit of a shame since you can technically access the sea from any of the registered inland waterways.

I agree - would be nice to take a trip right out to sea.

hi Paul! what a nice bonus! i find some gems in "post" that can't be seen in real time as well. i guess it's a reminder that you won't find those hidden gems unless you are recording.
      Cheers Paul!!
