People are not going to work the hours you work, I work around 40 and 50 hours a week and I am only able to work monday to friday 7 to 9 hours and Saturday 6 hours which give me around £800 on a bad week that will drop to 720 and a good week 950 I have not hit1k for 45 hours for 3 years. Jobs are paying less for sure and Uber is taking a bigger lice of the job :(

If car on finance, would the instalments be deducted as expenses? Also if driving as part time/ side job beside another full time job, any need to declare self employed additional job for taxes?
Yes of course the car instalments you pay would count towards the expenses as you are using this car for your jobs, What i know Uber forwards your earning records to HMRC so i am pretty sure that you will have to declare your earnings as a self employer Good 👍 luck brother

You could cancel rides you dont wanna take but lets do it as less time as you can, lets say 1 to 3 cancelling of rides a week would be fine in my opinion. Cancelling the rides will never impact on your driver rating, Bolt doesn’t make an issue about activity score felling down. Only issues arise when customer complaints a lot about you to bolt
