You guys do a great job of researching all of the "Cause & Effects" of "Being Involved in the Life". Your fluid narration is like listening to an audible Kindle Book.

Thanks for a great episode ladies and was Howie winter, Steve Flemmi and later Bulger working together as a team of informants for the Feds? What happened to Busias after 1969?

      Hi David,
As odd as this may sound, it does not appear that the informers were aware that the others in their crew were informing. The reason it looks like they were coordinating with one another is because the information was being filtered through and then disseminated by one person: SA John Connolly. And Connolly and his superiors clearly had an agenda. This is the similar to the situation that we have found with SA Kehoe where he appears to be taking two different sources and blurring the lines between them. What information was from the wiretap at Raymond's and what was from Vinnie Teresa? We will never know for sure. As for Whitey, he insisted that he did not know he was on the books.
Busias continued on with his ways. You'll have to wait for later in the season about him 😊

imo Howie Winter was never an informant, especially considering the multiple one prison sentences, in a world of fake "stand up guys", Winter was actually stubbornly a "stand up guy".

That was my first thought too, but multiple law enforcement officer say he was. Let's see what the 302s show us.

We're waiting anxiously to see what the 302s reveal. It's interesting that law enforcement all say that he was and the guys on the street say there's no way.
