@JamieMarksify I remember a couple of episodes ago where the Yorkshire bar owner (Tad?) Said something along the lines of "Spanish waiters won't get work here if they don't speak English" Last time I checked Benidorm was in Spain, They speak Spanish. It's not the waiter that has to learn a language Pendejo, it YOU!

We are not all like this I actually used to pretend to be German/indescriminate foreigner to avoid being linked to people like this. Where I lived, in 'Empty Spain'there was about 6 Brits and no one spoke English Unfortunately I now live in a less Dregsville area (than Benidorm) where everyone lumps me in with them. Get me Out of Here! They are truly Awful people most of them. They live in their ghettoes, don't learn the language, don't mix , treat the Spanish like dirt, watch UK crap tv, read the Daily Fail and the Scum, have fish and chip Fridays and Sunday Roasts in bars called the 'Market Tavern' We used to call them the Raj, because that is the mentality They have this idea that they are somehow better than the locals (Look at Them!) and treat them like the Raj treated the Fuzzie Wuzzies. Makes me sick. I go to a local Spanish restaurant , where no one speaks English, the food is100% Spanish, the menu is in Spanish In fact you don't get one,they recite it at the tale. .I made the mistake of taking a now ex friend, to try and get her to integrate. A guy thought he recognised me and spoke to me English He asked if I had been there before .She butts in, says, like she is some Queen Bee, speaking to the picanninies 'Oh, my friend ahs been here Lots of times, and has brought me to experience Authentic Spain!' I could have died of shame! When it came to coffees she was asked if she wanted cafe solo. Grin Yes Please! I said 'Whoa! You drink coffee with milk? 'Of course!' 'Then why have you just ordered a black one?' She said 'Oh,I thought he meant was it just for me! ' Yes like we All have Communal coffees. 6 years and cannot order a coffee.I think you can see why she is an Ex friend. She now lives in a glorified portacabin on a campsite, with no view and 6 feet from the next shed, paying more ground rent than I pay rent for my flat, with sea and mountain views. Still, she gets to play bingo, watch tribute acts and eat fish and chips!

Cabriolet in southern Spain? , there is a reason we have car ports, supermarket car parks are on the ground floor under the supermarket, sun deflectors, park on the south side of a street so you get shade from the buildings, white cars and non leather seats.
