It's really strange how strictly México regulates supplements but you can get almost anything OTC at the farmacias
I agree, it is weird
Not weird at all. They’re protecting their local market. Buy local. I learned this the hard way and recently had a package of supplements from the US destroyed. 😢
You can also use a paquetería service. My friend even sent two refrigerators to her family in Central America. It was cheaper to buy here and ship than to buy ove there.

I lost so much stuff at the customs in my first few months in Mexico. Smh.
So it's the prescriptions that won't go through the mail. I deal with Life Extension in Fort Lauderdale and I just called them and they said they mail vitamins to Mexico all the time and there's never a problem. As a matter fact they mail all over the world Vitamins. I think somebody should investigate a little more that vitamins can be mailed through the regular mail but prescriptions definitely cannot which I can understand. 100% you can't get a prescription through the mail. I hope this helps somebody and wherever you order your vitamins from you can talk to them and ask them if they mailed to Mexico and what experience they had etc. etc. OK have a great day everybody.

The last time I had medications shipped across the border, I had to pay a 100% duty based on what customs thought the medication was worth. Problem was, their estimated price was more than 4x what the meds cost in the US. The only way I know to get meds across the border without these fees is to hand carry it.
And based on what I know, I think your experience is rare. They usually get confiscated.
I'm on 6 different prescriptions , I carried them with on plane no problem and 2nd set in suitcase, no problems. Same for EU
@@Kim-J312 Same here. Walked them across in Tijuana to the airport. We made sure to have the prescriptions with us just in case. If the baggage is checked, it was even easier.

Hi, thank you for the years you have provided us with your videos. I do have a question, has nothing to do with scamming! Wife and I are taking a trip to Mexico very soon. We are only visiting and not applying for residency at this time. We want to go for 1 month spending 1 week at a time in 4 different cities. So, QUESTION, all we need is our passports and hotel itineraries to substantiate our 4 week stay? Correct, or am I missing something here?? Thank you.

they scan the outside of your mail? Do you get Amazon to that service and then forward to Mexico or how do you handle Amazon deliveries?
Yes they scan the outside and if you want them to they scan the inside as well. For Amazon deliveries I usually have Amazon send it to my house
Do the Costco stores in Mexico have the same supplements available?
They have some of the same stuff in the supplement section

Hi Ralph, I use mine with the IRS so I would think that other official things wouldn't be a problem. Over my 5.5 years in Mexico, I've been using the service the entire time, and only once did someone tell me that I needed a real physical address. That was American Express.
To answer your second question, the city included in the cheapest option is Sanford, NC but you can choose other cities for an additional fee. I have an address in NC and another one in South Dakota, a 0% income tax state.

Does the mail service open your mail or do they only photograph the outer envelope?
They scan the outside and if you want them to they also scan all the pages inside

I'm not sure what use someone who's not from the USA would have for a USA mailbox service?

I can't believe you are not using your brother's, sister's, or parent's US address to receive your mail and have your US credit card's official address like many ex-pats. / There are GNC in Mexico in some cities, so they don't sell supplements?
Take it from one who knows: family members eventually grow very tired of dealing with your mail. I use TMB as well and it’s worth every penny.
