I watched this video approximately six years ago, and in roughly 100 days I will be ordained a Catholic priest. Thank you so much for being that initial budge that got me to call my Vocations Director.
I have finally got my vocation.... God is calling them to be a priest... thank you so much for helping me discover my vocation through this beautiful video.... I'm watching it from Kenya...God bless you so much....
Mark, I'll be praying for you and thousands more out there who gave their will to God, for His plans are greater than any we could do alone. God be praised!
I've been in a state of discernment for the priesthood in religious life for a while now. Things like this video really help boost me along to continue the process. Thank you!
I really love how you capture the essence of catholicism's sacramental values of consecrated life 📖, marriage life 💒, single life 🌷, and priesthood life ⛪. Really like how you implement the music in the background which revolves around the person. Its great to find a film producer who creates the wonders of God's call to each and every person's life. Keep up the good work and God Bless you! 😊
Two things: 1 - this video is really well done. You have great talent. 2 - I am discerning priesthood, and this was really helpful. Thank you for this video.
This is a very powerful video and I love the part where he hangs the idea of trusting Jesus with all the vocations because sometimes we are just called to trust him blindly until he reveals our call. Beautiful work, keep it up!
Thank u man already made this video.. During young people so busy with their world wheres what they need and want only style, money, popularity, free sex etc.. I hope God still touch and give young people to follow Him to become His disciple... amen..
A very extraordinary video. I was inspired in the struggle of my vocation life in seminary. Hopefully many people will be more blessed through this film. God bless us...
I always pray to God for our priests and seminarians because without the priests there’s no Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and other Sacraments of the church and I pray also for our nuns for answering the call of God to serve our Lord
Your short film was amazing. The emotion and truth behind every word, every shot of this film was incredibly moving. I look forward to seeing more of your work, and am so grateful you’ve decided to share this with the Catholic community on UA-cam. Thank you so much. God Bless!
This video is incredible Aaron. Words can't describe how talented you are. Seeing my parent's love in this video was so amazing and you captured it so well.
Honestly, I’ve learned that whatever you are doing right now IS your vocation. You don’t have to constantly stress out about what you “should” be doing - just seek to deepen your relationship with God wherever you are. That’s all He wants from us. When it comes time to take some sort of vows, He will make it very clear and He will make it happen. So if He hasn’t done that yet, it means that wherever you are right now is all He wants from you at this time. So relax and enjoy whatever state of life you’re currently in; you don’t have to constantly stress about a decision He hasn’t asked you to make.
I understand but disagree slightly. For many what they are doing right now ISN'T their vocation because they're refusing to listen to the voice of God either out of fear or other reasons. We are called to deepen our relationship with him yes but we are also called to listen actively to his voice so that when he asks us to act we do. I agree you should not stress about about it but it does require thought and prayer. So that when we do decide, we make the right decision.
In a way true. Worked most of my life, and the last 2 years as a Catholic, and now the idea of 'is this for me' is taking root. Even at my age. The world is distracting, and its vocations with it. I am tired of the world' 'noise' and want to worship my Lord and my God without it.
@@danielsustaita9522 The issue of 'calling and responding' can be difficult? Pope Benedict said "The world is moving towards the dictatorship of relativism which does not recognise anything as definitive and has as its highest value one's own ego and one's own desire"... In seminary my best friend and professor gone home to go would go crazy when someone said "it's God's will" claiming that God wants for us what we want for ourselves! I believe this but like to add so long as what we want is the truth and is beautiful! Vocation can be a struggle, think of Samuel who mistook the Lord's call for Eli...the elder Eli only realised it was God calling at the third time (1 Samuel 3)... Elijah in the Book of Kings who sought the Lord's voice in the powerful wind, the earthquake and the fire...but the Lord's voice was in the quiet breeze (1 Kings 19:11-13) Prayer, reflection, discernment and guidance from a spiritual director are essential in the 'struggle' to discern what God wants for us. For the lucky few the answer is easy and straightforward for the rest of us it can be a struggle like Jacob in Genesis who struggled with the angle...but the struggle is worthwhile. God bless you all
Excellent, Holy Spirit led film. I watched multiple times and cried. Thank you and God bless you. To God be the Glory and may His Name be blessed forever💞
AMAZING video Aaron! I showed it to my students in High School and they loved it too! They were left wondering what vocation did you discovered for your life. I told them I would ask you.
Aaron I want to say that you have SO much talent I enjoy watching your messages in your videos. I have enjoyed this one very much what a great message. As I watched it I thought of several young people who I needed to send this to. Bless you Chris Koslosky ps miss you at the Lied :-/
3:40 amen! Please pray for your loved ones who need God in their lives. And I love the beauty of a sister or nun' smile.. you Know! Christ in in them and with them, its just gorgeous.
This is a great job. From Montreal, Canada, a great thanks! Beautiful, inspiring, lightning. I suppose, if you have a channel named "Hipster Films", that you want to share more of yours? I wish! God bless.
Do you think they should ban cell phone pics during Papal Masses? It looks ridiculous seeing every other person snapping away. Even the clerics are doing it. The Swiss guards should start sparing those who take photos. That would put a quick stop to it.

This video sucks. It’s lengthened for no reason and they felt the need to place sad music over the whole thing. Dislike, and I recommend others do so as well,
It’s meant to be a mini documentary that provides insights into each of these young peoples journeys into the religious life. The music is to help convey that emotion. Hope this provides some clarity and understanding 💛🌻☀️🌟🌼

Very good days. Please could you subtitle the video in Spanish. Thank you very much in advance and God bless you.
Nice
Muy buenos días. Por favor podrían subtitular el vídeo en español. Desde ya muchas gracias y que Dios les bendiga.
The background music is by a Charismatic Protestant worship band (Hillsong). Interesting choice for a Catholic film about vocations...
That song is where I heard my calling to religious life. God can use all things for his glory. Don’t knock the song.
@@juliasauter5547 I wasn't knocking the song. I like it myself. I just thought it was an interesting choice given it's origins.
For the true authentic full formation & never change seminary look up St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary. You will not be disappointed

Long after you get the call from Jesus, God will make you encounter a lot of young people. DON'T FUCK THEM!
Check out the Rome Boys as we discuss Vocations: ua-cam.com/video/d_1AljjCuM8/v-deo.html
If a vocation is a call from god why did god call call paedophiles and all sorts of perverts to the priesthood did god make a mistake in these cases
WHATS UP DUBIDUBIDAPDAP
SSPX or FSSP?
Fssp they are in full communion with the church
The background music is the instrumental of Oceans by Hillsong!!
Ok thank you so much
A protestant group outside of communion with Peter.
Personal property of Jesus
