The crimes of Peter Lynch were recorded in a report by the Daily Telegraph.
He was filmed calling the police “scum”. His sign and protest was not unlawful, but his verbal abuse towards police officers during the “racist incident” crossed the line, the Recorder added.

Didn't that police woman forcefully shove Peter twice with her shield to the ground? 2nd time he fell to the floor. He got up and started verbally attacking the police. I'm sure that's what I saw on video. If so The police woman assaulted Peter🤔

Peter Lynch never deserved to be sent to jail, what he had on his banner many of us would agree with…I’m a British born black person, and find nothing wrong with people standing up for the country of their origin, especially when they live in that country, not like other groups who defend the rights of countries they don’t live in, even though what they defend is wrong!

Now will everyone agree that tolerance is totally wrong and NOT a value or a virtue. The difference between tolerance and Patience is, Tolerance allows that which we know to be wrong, without correction and in the way it has been used, results in cowardly appeasement. Patience, on the other hand, is allowing wrong doing for a time while informing the wrong doer that what they’re doing is wrong with a view to persuading them to repent (turn away from it). Patience runs out if the party refuses to repent and consequences to the unrepentant ensue.

At least, there should be close scrutiny as to how the Judiciary sentenced non-violent offenders.

You want to hear something disgusting pertaining to this? I had a neighbour attack me with a serrated butchers knife and a hammer this incident was recorded on mobile phone while she threatened my life. It took the police 3 days to attend my property, when they attended they asked me what i wanted them to do as it had been a while i said do your bloody job and arrest her. They went away and 4 days later i got a phone call saying that she had been arrested, i said that's great but they went on to say that 30 minutes later she was released with a caution as it was her first offence even though she was clearly shown with a knife in her hand and a hammer saying she was going to kill me. So for someone to be sentenced to death for hurty words is absolutely disgusting.

There are a LOT of us who have similar stories. I was put in hospital for two days by a violent thug who was found guilty of ABH - he got a suspended sentence….

Disgraceful the person who broke my nose cheekbones and caused multiple bruises and fractured teeth got a 2 year suspended sentence he was charged with gbh. How does this make sense and that person it wasn’t his first offence either.

@@dupingdelight the person who attacked me has a previous record of two violent offences. His barrister argued for a none custodial sentence, as did his parole officer, because his girlfriend had just given birth. The case took 18 months to come to court, though…. So he got her pregnant whilst waiting for a case to come up where he ought to have been jailed…. You couldn’t make this up.
