I had a neighbour attack me with a serrated butchers knife and a hammer this incident was recorded on mobile phone while she threatened my life. It took the police 3 days to attend my property, when they attended they asked me what i wanted them to do as it had been a while i said do your bloody job and arrest her. They went away and 4 days later i got a phone call saying that she had been arrested, i said that's great but they went on to say that 30 minutes later she was released with a caution as it was her first offence even though she was clearly shown with a knife in her hand and a hammer saying she was going to kill me. So for someone to be sentenced to death for hurty words is absolutely disgusting.
I want to draw attention to the fact that the courts seem to be taking orders from the government - Starmer stated that the rioters/protestors would be severely punished and the judges did just that! Our judiciary is meant to be independent. We now have a politicised judiciary - the UK is beginning to resemble East Germany or some banana republic.
