از تو حذر نمیکنم، گرچه ز من حذر کنی جان به ره تو میدهم، گر تو به من نظر کنی
از نفس تو میشوم هم نفس ستاره‌ها خیمه به ماه میزنم گر به شبم گذر کنی
پاک شوم ز خاک تن گر چو صبا به من رسی خاک ره تو میشوم تا گل من گهر کن
شهره شهر میشوم از شر و شور عاشقی باغ شکوفه میشوم میل بهار اگر کنی
جان جهان چه دیده ای، از چه رسن کشیده ای حال مرا تو دیده‌ای از چه بدم بتر کنی
نور به جان ما توئی، خضر زمان ما توئی لب بکشا که هر دمی، زیر بسا زبر کنی
محو تو‌ام که هر دمی، محشر تازه تر کنی گر بپذیریم به خود، سنگ مرا تو زر کنی
تیغ به رگ به راه تو بهر فدا نشسته‌ام چشم نمی‌زنم به هم تا تو مرا خبر کنی
Translation of words:
I’ll not turn from you, though you cast me aside; I’ll give up my life for a glance from your eyes.
I’ll blaze like the stars if you breathe on my light, pitch my tent on the moon if you pass me one night.
A soft breeze from you cleans the clay of my soul; being the earth at your feet transmutes me to gold.
This delirium has made me the talk of the town: one thought of your spring and my whole garden blooms.
But, light of all life, what’s made you withdraw?
Abandon me now, and I’m worse than before.
You’re the light of the world and time’s giver of life; part your lips an instant and we’re shaken by strife.
Blow your trumpet again and we’re nothing but dust; dazed by you each day’s a new law for the just.
I rejoice in this kinship, bow my head to this chance; accept my heart’s stone, and it’s a jewel at once.
