@Roymillington1 Glad that the video brought back your fond memories. I only wish that I could have included the lovely smell of the burnt castor oil; that's what we remember the most abut when we run these old engines.

@QuadCore120 Thank you for your question. No! In this case the prime was squirted down the air intake which is located just forward of the cylinder, in the journal part of the crankcase housing. One could also prime through the exhaust port, the place where you suggested, and obtain the same successful results.

I had a few of those old Wen-Mac engines. I remember a some had a separate glow plug that screwed into the head. Unfortunately all my engines and parts were stolen many years ago:(

Where did you put the glow fuel in? I saw you squirt some...is it on the cylinder head above the gap where the piston goes between?

This looks similar to the McCoy .049 I recently bought on E Bay, but haven't had a chance to try yet.

Testors just used the McCoy name which they owned, it is still just a Wen-Mac, which is actually an Atwood at heart.

i recently bought one of these engines on eBay. where does the exhaust come out? does it need an exhaust pipe like many modern nitro car engines? i am new to this stuff….
