I saw something similar on limitless levelup UA-cam channel. I tried the invisible root method and they were the best faux lox I had ever done and I’m an amateur 🙂 Cornrows in the back would def be much quicker. This turned out really nice 👍🏾

I use a long plastic beader to pull my plaits thru the locs cuz it's flexible and good for wavy curly locs.

I love this braid pattern. I cannot conrow but it is on my 2023 goal board. 1) where do I purchase a mannequin with natural hair that is not expensive? 2) how long do the faux locs last, looks like if single braids at front, I can take them out to be refreshed easily.

You speak nothing but the truth about those small loops. I did this style last night, first time ever doing crochet on myself. I need to work on my braid pattern AND follow your instructions (imagine that!) I tried to do my own hair. I'm a lefty and got so confuddled... It took 1 hour for 3 pieces. I couldn't get the hook right. It kept getting caught in my hair. I quit. You are talented in my opinion to do your own hair. 🖤
