I waited till 1st light and thought I’ll just see how far I can get and at least I’ve given it a go. Defo made the right decision as it was getting pretty bad as I was coming back down.. Cheers Andy, yeh I was just wanting up and down asap as I knew conditions were to get worse. Paul had already done that one so he headed home on the sat. Yeh I was definitely doing that solo while up there. Cheers Andy Frank.👍🏔🥾
You are brave venturing into the hills on a day like that Frank! I try and avoid days like that if I can. I done these 4 over 2 days last year. Was a nice solo weekend with a wee overnight in Aviemore! I have an overnighter coming up in early November in Fort William so fingers crossed the weather is decent an get out on the Saturday and Sunday! you are putting up impressive numbers this year !

Great effort Frank. Conditions looked nasty, especially towards the end. I've hung up my tent for the year and after watching your video, confirmed it was the right choice....out of interest, do you find a big difference in the Jottnar gear from the other kit you own? Keep them coming, always love the content 👍
Thanks for watching Euan, yeh forecast was for rain and stronger winds as day progressed. That’s why I was keen to get an early start. I took my 4 man tent because I knew I’d be camping next to the car, but what a faff taking down a larger tent in the pitch black and blowing a hoolie all by yourself🤣🤣.it could be my last camp of the year, we’ll see. I love the Jottnar gear Euan, the hard shell jkt, nothing gets thru it, my down jkt is lovely and warm and very light, I absolutely love my wind stopper tops and I have also got a few jottnar base layers as well, you can se I’m s big fan of their gear. Not cheap but great quality.👍 I also have other brands of clothing but Jottnar is my go to brand. Thanks again for watching Euan, ATB Frank.👍
