TARAS you can make the heating packs easily by yourself for a few cents. just mix up 10 gramms of quicklime with 90% Calcium Oxide and 40 gramms of pure fine aluminum powder. you can use coffie filters to put the powder in it. use two filters for 1 heating pack and close it up with staples. try that out dude. it only costs a few cents per heating pack.

Pretty cool I think :). When I was traveling on the semi we stopped at some of the truck stops. They had dinners with similar heating packs you'd pour the water in the pack and put everything back in the package letting it heat the food.

check out the camping products on Dutchware Gear. many of them are their own products that they design and have produced. They also have a section of only camping food, and another for only DIY projects. Primarily though, you'd be most interested in the hardware. he designed it to be light weight hammock camping hardware, but it can be used for any purpose where cordage or straps are used.

The heating packs are basically quicklime and a bit Aluminium powder (it also works with just the quicklime) so if you buy it in a Hardware store or the Internet and measure / mix it yourself it will cost about 70 cents per package so it will be a lot cheaper (the german youtuber sacki survival has a pretty good series about this cooker where he explains it very well)

You should try cooking in a cardboard oven (it’s a cardboard box you wrap in aluminum foil and heat with charcoal with a rack that you can cook baking stuff like cakes and brownies while camping) (usually they are collapsible so theyre easy to transport)

I would put a few of those in my bug out vehicle to cook before shutting down at night. You can get 12 volt lunchbox cookers at truck stops that do the same thing without the heater packs.
This doesn't look practical at all.
