I’m 3 weeks in and I still haven’t finished putting in my mini braids😭. I wash my hair every 2 weeks and it’s already time for me to wash them. I’m rushing to finish them then wash them. On the bright side I will have volume. And I’ll curl them. I’m going to leave mine in for 6 months. Washing and rebraiding in between
    Great video!! ❤❤❤

My gosh I will pray for you😅. Honestly, it be like that sometimes but I agree with you. I love the way my mini braids look after I wash them as well. The volume, the curled ends and even the shrinkage is just beautiful to me 💜🌻

How many hours long was this takedown? I asked a similar question in another video 😅 because I am looking to do these size braids this month! Realistic expectations will help to plan accordingly🎉 thanks for sharing your process with us!

Hello lol! This video took me a while to make 😅 it was a busy week but I do enjoyed sharing my experiences. Anyways to answer your question, it Usually takes me two full days to take down my mini braids. However, Everyone is different, so it depends on your hair length, how fast you braid, the size of your braid, and the time you have free to do it. Thanks for commenting I hope this helps!🌻

Honestly, it was a journey of highs and lows. I've been natural my whole life but my hair growth journey didn't start until 2013. And yes 😊, I will surely do another mini braiding video,I'm glad you liked it. Ask and you shall receive! Thanks for commenting, and the video suggestion. Hope you have a very blessed day/night!🌻💜

@@JayCeeNaturalWow, same as me ! I've also been natural all my life, but my journey started in 2018. In the beginning, I only did mini twists. It really helped me retain lenght and get past my growth plateau. I started doing mini braids a year and a half ago because I wanted a style that I could keep in longer without it matting too much when washing. Mini braids have definitely grown on me. I love the look, the durability and the versatility.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us !
      P.S. Are you a Seventh day adventist ? 😊

I would not do braids this small. Way too much matting if you keep them for months, way too much manipulation when taking them out. Bigger braids would save your hair from breakage and keep those ends fuller.

@@stylesbycharmichelle Hello🙂, thanks for the tip. I’ve done big twists & braids in my hair when my hair was weakened from heat damage it helped my hair a lot during that stage. When my hair regained strength I personally love putting it back in mini braids tho. It protected my hair and I can still style it many different ways. Mini braids are definitely not for everyone😅. It can be a lot when putting it in, or taking it down and I don’t recommend doing them on damaged hair 🚫. For me, If my hair is breaking off at the ends then It usually just needs to be rehydrated and moisturized, it’s not due to how big or small the braids are. As for manipulating, me personally, I don’t manipulate my hair while taking it out of my braids or putting it in. I use oils or butters then gently undo my hair with my hands, no heat or damaging hair products are involved. I grew up and grew out my hair on mini braids. I get how it could seem over the top or even crazy to braid my hair this small but,This style truly works for me. It helped me in growing healthy long hair. Im addicted lol. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day/ night 🌻
