I can't tell you how many times I've seen the foot rests in the map pockets when checking out these cars in pictures or in person. I had to laugh when Rodd made that statement and that only goes to show you that so many dealerships have no idea(nor do they care) how to proper setup a Rolls Royce. And as for that nostalgic two tone green car, i would have kept in the dealership showroom forever as a symbol of success instead of trying to sell it on. That car would mean to much to me if it was the first car i bought in this kind of automobile venture. Great video.
Gorgeous as usual. IMO, 50 years later, Shadows and Wraiths are still the most beautiful sedans ever made. Thanks Rodd. I enjoy your videos so much. Wish my garage was big enough i could bring that Wraith back to Cali!
I always love your cars Rodd, great cars and well presented. While I'm not a fan of browns the Silver Wraith II is still a classic combination and the two tone fine lines are a really special touch. But that green one is just a hideous color scheme. Someone will love it but not me... And I certainly agree with your view on the foot rests not being put in the map pockets. Now how about presenting a video of that lovely Pewter one you panned by right at the end?
When did they convert the chrome bumpers out, On a Johnny Walker ad from 1976 I saw chrome bumpers and thought they changed over with the Shadow2 in 1977 to rubber?

I really love the richness of the Scotch Pine... a beautiful shade of green. 👍

I wish someone would explain what the difference between a shadow and a wraith is during this generation? I have no idea but i would like to learn.
What a beautiful car and colour combination and great condition considering the era.
Both are gorgeous the green one is sensational
Just perfect 👌

North American market Shadows received rubber bumpers in mid-1973. Rest of the world received them in 1977 with the introduction of Silver Shadow II.
Is it just me? It looks like there is a color difference between the right front fender and door on the Silver Wraith?
I think it was Mel Farr from the Detroit Lions.
Indeed!.... thank you for over-coming by brain freeze
@@roddsala4626 No problem, Rodd... glad to help... love the videos. 👍
