I feel like a smaller scale version of this could be effective in a dogfight, imagine you're on some guys tail and then 30 bombs fly out at you. Magnets may prove to be useful for this idea.

Its me, you Local railgun expert here. to reduce complexity while increasing effectiveness at the same time, i would recamend clustering 9 bombs i to one detachable block, while this would deffinetly also reduce the outstanding specticle that tingles our human monke brains, it would prove better at cracking open stronger armors. For example, anchor pin armor. And personally, i would luanch them with magnets, but given my expertise that shouldnt be a suprise

You would effectively be dropping a boom brick, and at that point you wouldn't need all those detachable blocks. Just turn it into a literal brick

You can make this more powerful by making the bomb seperate from the plane, similar to what scrapman did with his max complexity bomb
