I raced in 2014. It was a kick in the nuts. I didn't have the money / sponsorship for the support teams like most of my competitors. I finished the race and was proud of what I accomplished. I was disappointed in the fact that I stopped on two different occasions to help fellow riders only to be left in the dust.

I feel so insiginficant (bike riding skills of 40+yrs) when I watch this; the handling skills and commitment is just amazing!
What surprised me this year was that I did not know that Saudi Arabia was so beautiful, and I did not think Yamaha would fare so badly.
Yeah what the hell happened to Yamaha's bike?? They make decent engines for quads and yet their bike engines are trash.
They should go the Australian Outback for the 2022 season

At the time, he was in 4th position in general standings, the highest position of any Yamaha rider and also his best achievement in Dakar so far. He fell and as you can see, the chain jammed. He needs around 40 minutes to repair it, meaning he certainly lost the 4th position. At the next stage he would quit the race because of engine failure, tho.

Ketahuan selain motor yg bagus. Para Pembalap Honda lebih cerdas dari yang lain. Mereka jauh lebih pintar baca Map. Pembalap KTM butuh waktu semalam buat baca Map.

No idea how can KTM lose a Dakar rally. The name Dakar was associated with KTM more. Tenere with much of the fanfare and advertising failed as usual
