Beautiful!! For the white polish it could be room temp that is changing the consistency, if it’s watery try sticking it in the fridge for a little bit and it should help with thickening it up :)

As for 3D art with acrylic, acrylic sticks to everything, no need to buff 1st. I've been doing it for 20 years and have never had a one come off!!
I do not know about 3D gel... it might be a good idea to buff it, if your using that. As, your right - No two smooth surfaces, stick together.
You can also use some clear acrylic to glue on your stones, acrylic loves to stick to acrylic, this way, you will not lose a stone!!!
Love the added bonus of them on the client!! Brings it all together.... :)

When your spunging the ombre on are you curing in between every coat your spunging on before adding more every time?
Dang I wish you posted this a week ago 😂😅 I was dying trying to sponge my ombré! The bubbles! But now I know go lite on the gel. Thank you!!
She has done a ombre before... if you would have looked in her videos.... you could have found it.
Check her ombre playlist. That's what I watched. My ombre turned out beautiful. Doing ombre with a brush doesn't work well for me. I prefer the sponge method.

Val can you do a video speaking on base tones and how you choose based on a customers skin tone. Do you follow the nail inspo tone or take into consideration the customers skin color too?
I usually dont see my customers skin tone because they dont have a profile picture of themselves or I cant tell exactly based on the small profile picture , so I make it exactly like the inspo picture but most of the time though they know which colors go well with their skin tone and will let me know ahead of time 💕

So I am having an issue with ny polish pooling to the sides of the nails and making the center sheer. Any tips on how to combat this?
Yes! Happens to me as well im sorry about missing your comment but what helps me is when im painting my nails I go back to the first one and go one by one re painting the nail with the same brush , ill go back and do it super quick then go to cure them , it happens to me a lot if I leave the gel sitting on the nail. Another way to combat this is to paint one nail , cure , paint another , cure . Instead of doing all 5 at one time which is what I usually do 🥲 it happens a lot when I paint all 5 at the same time without curing in between
@@Nailsslayedbyval yeah, I actually have been learning the polishes I have and doing super thin coats for the thicker ones and warming them up prior to using so they aren't so thick. But ty, I have been doing a few at time lately and it's getting better

I don't know how to work with acrylic and never ever did and I don't think I want to start because I'm a total gel girl. But could you try making one with the 5D sculpting gel. Well I don't know if it's actually called gel but it does cure on a lamp.

Next thing, I thought it was kind of funny so I thought I'd tell you. You're doing your French tips and as you're painting them from one angle they smile line looks like it goes down deeper and then when you turn it around and finish painting from the upside down position the smile line looks like his shrunk. So every time you turn them around my eyes are tripping out. But no sad they're all even they look good to me. I just thought that would be funny for you to know that. Lol

As for dining nudes, I have the same trouble, my hands are so light in color and I find the same, too orange, too brown or too dark, too yellow and I’ve had kids so I know what jaundice looks like! Lmao even though I like yellow just not in my nude yk yellow in a nude , is there such a thing..I was being funny anyway

Another thing that works amazing for me with light skin is a sheer milky white and then a sheer nude on top !
You should get a powder that doesn’t dry so fast. Mia’s secret is not beginner friendly, YN core acrylics dry slower.
I purposely put acetone mixed in with my monomer so it dries faster for 3d flowers
I think, without you being aware, one of the reasons you started creating your own custom colors is that your brain was finding a way to add a bit more tailoring and interest to what must certainly become repetitive at times. Each journey to the perfect nude is some added stimulation and satisfaction for you when you reach it.
