  • The Dewalt 20V cordless inflator ran side by side the Milwaukee 12V cordless inflator. Doesn’t matter if your filling floaters or tires, both are handy to have around. Both inflators make the perfect roadside companion for filling tires and a lot of other things. Both have many features that I break down so you can decide which is better for you.

    Never tried the DeWalt, but just got an M12 today and I am so pleased with it that I want to shout it from the rooftops!
    I had a truck tire down to 77,5 PSI. One 4.0 battery later it was at 94,25 PSI. Gonna push it more tomorrow once I have more batteries charged.

      Yeah for roadside the m12 is top notch, nice and compact especially if you don’t need the extra features of the Dewalt or if your already on the m12 platform.

      @@ToolsThatBuild I finally reached the limit of this tool today: 113 PSI. That is quite insane for a small handheld battery inflator!
      I just wish we could get one that could handle 130.
      But I think you hit the nail on the head; most of us go for what we have. Few if any get an inflator as their first tool on a platform: you are either already on DeWalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi or whatever, then you may get an inflator. The entry tools are usually a drill, a grinder or maybe a saw of some sorts.

    The M12 has the adapters on the back as I understand it.

      Correct they are on the back but it only has connections for high pressure low volume of course.

      @@ToolsThatBuild I think we're talking about different statements, I'm talking about at 2:45:
      .
      "A nice little bonus is the on-board storage for connections like the needle valve I'm always losing, the Milwaukee simply as none of these things."
      .
      I was just saying it does have the on-board storage for those things, like the needle valve, it has it on the back.

      You don’t require the battery but you do need the ac cord which isn’t included

      The Dewalt runs at about 80db and the Milwaukee runs at about 95db. To be honest when your using them they are pretty much the same both fairly loud, the Dewalt has a little higher pitch whine to it but otherwise pretty much the same.

    the Dewalt one always Drop a pressure slowly after done this is only thing I don’t like

    • @ToolsThatBuild
      @ToolsThatBuild  4 роки тому

      They both do that. It’s just how the read out works.

      Tools That Build Milwaukee hold the pressure battle then dewalt

    • @ToolsThatBuild
      @ToolsThatBuild  4 роки тому

      Neither hold pressure they simply fill to a pressure the Dewalt is just reading a drop in the tires pressure after filling more accurately than the Milwaukee, they will both drop a little but it has nothing to do with the inflator itself.

      @@ToolsThatBuild I'm happy with my DeWalt inflator EXCEPT the Low pressure / high volume mode doesn't work. All I get is an error message. Not a deal breaker for me - for tyre inflation the device is excellent.

      Soroako oh haven’t had that issue myself. Is it still under warranty? I have had some good luck with Dewalt’s warranty
