- Gibson Sheryl Crow Country Western Supreme, 2021 Production.
Sheryl and I must have similar taste in guitars, because I think she has the coolest signature models in the game. I actually own and love her Southern Jumbo Signature model from years back, and it has been an absolute monster of a guitar, the one that I'll probably never let go of.
I was psyched about the release of a 60's-Inspired Country Western Model with Sheryl's name on it, and I'm liking this guitar quite a bit so far.
Unique features include a Torrefied Sitka Spruce Top and Hide Glue Construction. Back and Sides are Mahogany.

My goodness you've done it. You managed to retain the beautiful sound of this fantastic guitar. Playing exactly what it was made to play.
Wonderful demo, and the guitar sounds amazing. I tried one of these guitars recently - great playability, sweet tone and responsiveness. I think there are some superb Gibson acoustics coming out of Montana currently.
If I was going to get a Hummingbird, this would probably be the one.
I highly recommend one..but it doesn't have to be a country-western, it just has to be the right one.
I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Some of the best out there. Have you done a comparison of a Gibson square shoulder vs a Gibson slope shoulder? May e a hummingbird vs a j45?
Have you noticed any differences in the sound when compared to a hummingbird?
Any chance you could a comparison review of a J45 Slash model vs standard, I played one recently and it was the best J45 I have played out of the 3 or 4 I have played before. I'm not particularly in to the Slash branding, but it was a great guitar.
I played a J45 slash and it was a head above any other J 45 on the wall.
I own a j45 slash and i Iove it, awesome guitar, amazing sound, really impressive, very similar than à j45 vintage, but the neck is a little different, both are amazing guitars
Very nice I played one years ago. Is the bracing different in her model than the "normal" version of the same guitar? Thanks!
How does this guitar sound different from Hummingbird vintage or Original?
Lovely demo of how this guitar was made to be played. Thanks so much, more often than not acoustic demos are too widdelly diddly and lots of nonsense playing. This demo is brilliant! Thanks so very much. 🌠🌌👌
Geeez! Your fingerpicking sure gets some killer sounds. ALWAYS beautiful playing!
nice.very clean sound.which interface you use?the mic is shure?
What strings are you using?!!
Sound is very great..look like hummingbird..
it is
one of my top favourite gibsons guitars, but a liltle bit overpriced if you ask me..got a d18 instead
Thankee 'bud...
Ian, what do you think of this guitar? Is it a bit "too sweet" sounding or just right? Im thinking about it for my first expensive guitar. I love the sound of a great J45, my dream gutar is the 42 Banner Southern Jumbo, but this Sheryl Crow also sounds interesting to me. The price is high so it would be my only guitar if I go for it. What are your thoughts on it? Thanks, and great playing!
An excellent demo. Tastefully done all play and no smoke. Thank You
What exactly makes this guitar any different than say a Hummingbird except the pickguard and natural finish and worth about $2500 more...oh and Sheryl Crows name
Best to think of this less as a signature model and more of a Gibson Custom Historic Hummingbird. And actually you're only looking at roughly $500 more than a Standard/Original series Hummingbird. And this is a bit less than Gibsons other Custom Historic Hummingbird. So honestly this is kind of a value in terms of Gibson acoustics.
This guitar is 4200. If you subtract 2500 from this, that would be 1700. There isn't a Gibson Hummingbird in that price range. The closest would be the Studio at about $2200. And studios are way lower quality and less desirable tone woods than this.
@@todddammit4628 in Canada it's $5500
@@hotlov72 Okay but does that change the price relationship between the Studio, Original, and Historic Hummingbirds? Or are all they all more expensive?
@@todddammit4628 well of course the Studios are less expensive because for one, they're not aged, and it's a narrow body, and some appointments, bit as for Historic, other than the Thermal aging, $5000 U.S
@@todddammit4628 or $6000 Canadian
