1. Nitro Varnish (cellulose based varnish primarily for wood) - you can apply it over whole pages of model at the beginning of the construction process, or as I do, at the end when I have everything glued in subassemblies before surfacer. The paper will be more solid and not so much absorbent. But be aware for plastic parts which can be destroyed by that varnish (or its thinner). 2. Surfacer/Primer - I love Mr. Surfacers - black one or grey 1200/1500 are the best for me. Dont forget to sand the whole surface after the surfacer is completely dried. They are pretty much the same. 3. Painting & Weathering The first step isn't necessary. I used it only on my last repainted model - the Hetzer (feel free to check the video) but It didn't have the effect that I expected.
Your build is simply amazing! I stumbled upon this video by accident but it is great timing, as i just started building my own Tw29. (Although yours will most definitely be nicer). 2 Questions: 1) Are there any major problems i should be aware of? 2) Any tips for painting the signs (11:10)? Because that is something i really struggled with on my last model (Cn2t "Las"). Also i have a small tip for something you could look into for future railway builds in 1:25: For my Cn2t i didn't want to build my rails out of paper, so i looked around and found Code 250 profiles used by 1:22,5 model railroaders. And they fit the dimensions specified by the instructions perfectly. They look great (although i absolutely butchered their paintjob :/ )But i don't know if they are available in your country and even if they are, your rails look great already so it might not be worth it for you.
First of all, thank you for your kind words. 1) No, they are no major mistakes. Mr. Kołodziej did good job and this was probably the most accurate model I've ever made. 2) Firstly, these little sings are painted with an airbrush. Then I put small amount of white color on paper towel and after few seconds I gently pushed (repeatedly) these signs to the color. The last step was to use varnish to fix the result. Honestly, I don't know what you mean. It would be great If you can send me some link on that stuff. But personally, I rather use paper rails. I got a friend which has laser and he can cut off these things easilly for me. :)
@@oliverskovajsa hmm....it a very shame the moment thought i just gave you a pdf file of it to you. I hope you earn the 88mm flak as soon as possible :) have good papercraft!
Can you make a very basic tutorials for starters? So basic you hace to notice them to wich where is for cut, like as.....you have cut the inside of the line or the outside of the line. And how to cut a roundthing good. It's to me that you just give a short massege. :)
Amazing, fantastic, gorgeous work! I am impressed!!!
Wow Super Model BRAWO 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋

Super! Bravo!
How do you prepare paper for painting?

excellent job again 👏
Great. Only few notes: rivets are too prominent and it does not look like paper model (this is not complaint, only my opinion)
You're right. But those rivets were the best ones which I've had at that time.
@@oliverskovajsa Great improvisation. Nevertheless, it is beautifull machine and perfect work of yours.
Great jod you've done!♡
Can you make halinski 88mm flak 36/37?

I'm planning to do something like that. :)
