Samsung flagships have become absolutely undefeatable at this point and I'm so here for it!
@hellsfavoritesaltyberserke4724 lol. OnePlus phones are always one less the competition.
@hellsfavoritesaltyberserke4724 the only thing they smoke is 🌿
@hellsfavoritesaltyberserke4724 nice joke 💀
😂 They are way ahead of the others. Even when it comes to switching iPhone users are choosing the one Android they hated for years
@@KgzStylezwhen? More android users switch to iPhone. Just guys have to stop with this hype. It’s best android phone say that.
I went from a S-9+ to S-24U, and an Apple XS-Max to 15promax. both are fantastic! I use one as my business phone, the other is my personal phone..( I own a small/medium business) Greetings from Tokyo,Japan!
Your the perfect person to review both companies
Which one u prefer ?
I use a 15 pro max as my work phone and I just traded my z fold 5 in for this ultra. Samsung is more fun but apple is consistent...
Konnichiwa
nagyabang ka lang haha
One of the top 3 favorites for me is the screen. The anti reflective properties are really nice
Also changing the stupid curved with a flat screen was a good choice
Really why do you like the anti reflection screen. It makes all the colors look odd and grainy
@@xShinobiXx the grain and colors has nothing to do with anti reflective screen it is only on some defective screens only and the colors is software problem
I would like to answer your question about practicality. I work in a hospital as a Radiographer. Many patients don't speak English. On a daily basis I will need the interrpreter to speak to patients who do not understand english instead of looking for someone else. Very practical feature for medical staff!!
This is the first flagship phone I've ever had. I can never go back. Just beautiful and amazing.
Same here. I came from 14 pro max and never gonna go back to iphone unless they give me more customisation and multitasking 😊😅
I NEVER used a screen protector on my S23U, and have ZERO scratches on it. I'm not sure why some people have scratches on their phones? They must have some serious crap in their pockets with their phones. But I NEVER put anything in my phone pocket, except my phone. And I run a plant nursery, so I have dirt on my fingers all the time, and use my phone all day long. Then when I seriously clean my screen, I can't find any micro scratches, and I've had it for a whole year of use. Also, I won't use a screen protector on the S24U I just ordered. Actually I haven't used screen protectors since the S5. No problems.
I want to end by saying I will NEVER pay a monthly charge for ANY feature. That is stupid. I can live without MOST things which require me to pay a monthly fee. So NO, no monthly fee for AI. AI will be so widespread by then, that you will have a thousand other choices for free.
I'm drooling on Android and Samsung for the first time since the Note 9. The S24 Ultra is the best mobile device ever released. I'm a week in now and I cannot believe how good it is over the S22 Ultra I upgraded from. This is the ultimate device for people who only have one device. It's so good I'm seriously considering selling my Apple Ecosystem.
Yeah, this phone is seriously like perfect. I can’t begin to describe how flawless it is especially with no power saving on 120 Hz animations removed this phone is literally like perfect no lag as soon as you open some thing it opens it up so fast, you can barely even react to it in time.
Apparently you haven’t read all the reviews (just the ones that agree with your narrative) because there are a lot of people that DONT agree with you.
@@robhughes8516They are still in the excited post purchase 'Honeymoon' period, and just need to vent that excitement, saying things that they will feel foolish about later. I am sure it is a syndrome with a recognised name or something..😂😂
@@ZxAMobile"how flawless" with that downgraded washed out display, reduced field of view display and still the same shitty shutterlag.
So "flawless"😂😂
@fantasytky28 what phone are you using I would love for you to show me a better phone :)
I have had pretty much every Flagship out there and yes apple is a much better phone but that annoying Dynamic Island and the rounded edges and lack of 8K video and 120 HZ 4K is a deal breaker for me.
No phone will ever be perfect but I can promise you whatever you're saying about the display you're wrong considering dxoMark ranked it as the number one display in the world, and it's literally the best display Samsung has ever made.
No, Samsung will be pushing an update to fix Vivid mode. It has nothing to do with the anti-reflective coating.
I heard that was just a rumor spread by a customer service agent, and that Samsung has officially announced there is nothing wrong with the screen, it was made the way it was on purpose and a fix won't be coming, but I don't know what to believe anymore so many people say different things
Whether they push an update or not, it has nothing to do with the anti reflective display since the S24 and the S24+ have the same "Vivid not as Vivid" issue.
And who said so about the update? UA-cam trolls? people just making themselves happy
samsung already stated they designed the color in a natural way and wont be fixing any.
They have issued a formal statement saying it’s intentional. It’s probably to make the camera side more accurate when shooting.
Love u two. Amazing podcast btw
Thank you and much love
Camera is unfortunately a failure or under whelming given the scenario where intelligent optimisation (basically a software processing) kicks in automatically after snapping and it destroys the pictures 7/10tines unless you're in perfect daylight.
There are few blogs in relation to same if you Google it,don't know why yt don't talk about it.
It's take pictures with 12mp,but once you switch you see how terrible is the problem. You can't disable it,but just keep it minimal but even then it does terrible processing
I just feel like the iPhone photos are too reddish and Samsung looks more natural. (My opinion)
Good video. I am still not especially happy with how washed out the display is. I am coming from a Fold 5 and 15 Pro Max. I really hope this is a software issue that will be fixed.
The screen isn't washed out. It just isn't as vibrant. Are you working for Apple?
I've heard Samsung is pushing out an update to fix the vivid mode
@@lbeetech agree
@linzyshelander3069 wrong!
@@sunUK20 We shall see, now won't we
Also one thing 5x , 12MP camera photos seem more beautiful than 5x, 50 MP camera
Samsung did release a statement on the AI they said they don't know either right now.
The vivid mode doesn't affect HDR content, it looks as good as the S23U.
Also the S24U screen has darker blacks and a higher PWM, for less eye strain.
I prefer the S24U screen over my S23U now.
Thats what many don't realise, all thinking about the update. Theres no update. Its supposed to be like that
How do you know that have you tested the HDR. Yeah I thought the same but what about you press either vivid or normal there’s no difference at all like it’s broken as such
@jonpeach5851 with HDR videos on my s23u and s24u side by side, there is no difference, otherwise I would have returned the phone.
This was also tested by another youtuber and it shows the full colour range.
@@JohnSmith-ef8nr ahh wicked which in general use is brighter the s23 ultra or the s24 ultra and which is the better screen lol. Thanks
@@JohnSmith-ef8nrHdr is a myth
Imo the reduction in vibrance is only noticble when placed side by side with the previous s23u, which isn't something I'll do in day to day use. When placed in light, it's less reflective and I still get the high quality screen. The trade off seems minor to me here. It's arguably still a better and stronger screen than last year.
Totally agree. You only notice if you compare side by side and the tradeoff is worth it for the other advantages
@@SuperSafSpeaksthe tradeoff is definitely worth, coming from some UA-camr with affiliated link.....
Worth ass I call this paying over thousands for a downgraded display. Go search the video, it's not what bs none reflective glass, the pixels literally isn't pure red or green colours.
@@SuperSafSpeaksI've never used s series before but damn sure I've spotted s23u at Samsung shop and this year's s24u. S24U screen immediately felt dull and boring with no vibrancy like my 100 dollar phone😂 seriously no cap, s23U to me is hands down the best phone in the world I've spotted and it's screen with slight curvature makes it feel more premium. I have no issue with the anti glare coating but let's be honest here, how many times will you be using your phone in direct sunlight? I would even go ahead and say a little bit of glare makes it feel more premium. S24U is not perfect the way Samsung wants us to believe, latest does not equate to better. Just my thoughts.
For which reason s24 should be lighter than s23? Titanium is heavier than aluminium.
The screen, with its dull colors is really bad, i totally dislike it.
I don't like having the 24 mp mode as a standard. the 12 mp is better as it is, the more the picture is binned the better hdr you get. having it as an option is better as it should be. you already have 12, 24, 50, 200 just choose OMG.
I love watching you 2 together!!! 😁 Thank you for this! 😁❤
My phone of the year and I haven't received mine yet LOL!
Im Snowboarding since two weeks and my s24 Ultra 1TB black was delivered home. Only two more weeks until I get it. Meanwhile my Note10plus makes those Swiss.Mountain Pictures.
Same! I ordered mine yesterday and it won't be here until Tuesday. So far away still haha

@@MoistHandTowel I couldn’t imagine myself without this phone for more than one day the S 24 ultra is the greatest phone I have ever put my hands on it is truly a work of art that cannot be described
@@ZxAMobile Yeah I can't wait! It's gonna be here tomorrow. What color you go with, I went with the titanium violet
I am not writing this necessarily to defend Samsung, but when I got my S 20 Ultra, the screen was draining the battery so much that I always kept it on bettery saving mode and dimmed light, even without that, the colours were not that great and I read alot of complaints about it at the time. I think Samsung looked at those complaints and I remember at some point I received a questionnaire from Samsung about how they can improve the phone and make it better. Within months from that the screen of the phone improved so much that it is great even with dimmed light and battery saving mode is so bright and the colours are vibrant, I still believe it's one of the best screens out there. I have faith that if there are any issues with the screen from the S24 Ultra, this will improve with updates in time, provided the screen is made of top components as the S 20 Ultra. This is top phone, really expensive and alot of people wait the best from it, worth for their money, so I hope Samsung will keep the good tradition as always. As about me, I am aware this phone already has a good screen, and like I said, if there is no hardware issue, nowadays alot can be improved from software. I try to have faith ha ha
Do a camera comparison between s23 and s24 saf....we want to see it SuperSaf style
Does it matter tho ?
Is there any camera lens shift from 3x to 5x and vice versa while zooming?? Is this normal, this was not in s23 ultra
I'm team curve display because it makes it slimmer which is very practical. The wide phone makes it harder to hold on to and increases hand fatigue.
I used the anti-reflective screen protector from samsung, and there is nothing anti reflective about that, it totally gets glossy again.
I love my S23 Ultra 😊
Portland, JAMAICA in the Building!!! 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Almost yee with grade 2 titanium and lower saturation? S23u is still top ,still have and not sure if Im actually happy with the upgrade..Ai features will come eventually on it
I just need the shutter speed to increase so i can take pics during my daughters basketball games
Hmmm im using my s24 ultra without a screen protector I'm thinking about just rocking without it and seeing if i get scratches or not
Someone said they should have ditched the 3x zoom, kept the 5x, and added a 10x. That would have been awesome!
I still rock my note 10 plus. But the 24 ultra is very tempting.
Note 9 user here...LFG till they come up with new tech which is not touch screen...lol
I Love their combo..Nice one Supersaf
People complaining the s24 ultra screen isnt as vibrant, its more like the iphone screen now, people never say the iphone screen is dull.Samsung made improvements and everyone complains.Samsung did great with the s24 ultra. The only issue with it is the motion capture and samsung have a lot of work to do there to catch up with the iphone max, otherwise the samsung is better full stop.
3:13 comparing anti reflective capabilities while one has a light background vs one with a dark background...makes total sense.
Camera of the year...if you have no friends, family, kids or pets, and only take pictures of buildings, sign posts and bushes outdoors.
It's a common misconception that titanium weighs less than aluminum. It actually weighs more, the myth comes in because you can use less titanium and have the same strength as aluminum. This is why you commonly see weight reduction when switching from aluminum to titanium. You're using less material without sacrificing strength. The real benefit of titanium comes in when you DON'T use less material. You use the same amount and get much better strength, but gain a little bit of weight
What!!! I didn't know about the student discount. Oh man
Thank you SuperSaf!
Thank you for watching
The right move would be to ditch the 3x and let the 5x and 10x...
I'm still putting a Glass Screen Protector on my S24 Ultra because they always get scratched no matter the upgraded gorilla glass screen.
Curved display made screen protectors of pain in the ass! I think I may trade in my s22!
These dudes are str8 hype beasts...
After a few weeks...I sent my 1tb ultra back...
And I'm way happier with my note 10 plus...

Great phone. Does everything.
How much is s24 ultra?
Samsung haven’t mentioned anywhere they will charge after 2025. Only you youtubers give idea to Samsung to charge. Let it be free to flagship phones. We already paid a high price for that mobile. Understand that and stop asking for money 😒

S24 ultra zoom issue 3x 5x
How about that gap between the camera glass and the metal ring. Dust and dirt will build up over time. Took mine back because of it.
When people say it is not any lighter so why use the titanium - we are comparing it to the 23 ultra. Do anyone know how heavy the s24 ultra would've been with aluminum?
I made the switch and got an S24U, such a great phone.........then again, after 13 months with an iPhone, I couldn't wait to get rid of that P.O.S. phone and I will never ever get an iPhone again. NEVER!!!!
Returning my S24 Ultra. Loved the flat screen. However, the display is not visual appealing to me, my S22 Ultra screen looks better to me. Might be the anti-glare technology that ruined for me.
Same thing for me😢
Y'all probably never had one.
Had it about a week. The real reviews are coming out and some are reporting the same.
There will be an update coming this 27th of February that they will bring back the vivid option.
Waw keren from Indonesian
I definitely would not be paying for those AI features, I'm doing just fine without them.
One plus 12 phone of the year
Channel needs renaming to Supersaf Interrupts.
Apple had titanium but doesn't Samsung make iPhones ?
Nice video
Thank you :)
I spent a good 2 hours with the S24 Ultra in my local city’s Samsung store last week (I know staff) I’m an apple user and have no complaints at all about that. The S24 Ultra is a good device BUT…. It’s not better than the IPhones, it’s different. It offers more technology wise but unless you are a power user, or content producer or need all the extra features it provides, it’s way too expensive for everyday life users, and I’m sorry but it’s not better than the IPhone. It isn’t. And the camera I’m sorry but NO, I prefer the processing in images of an iPhone and I’d say I prefer photos from the OnePlus 12 better. Anyway. Peace.✌🏾
He talking about an iPhone they still make those 😂😂😂

Phone of the year with a washed out dull screen? You're joking right?
It's Samsung, what do you expect an affiliated link paid UA-camrs to say?
@fantasytky28 right? None of these youtubers being honest.
Phone of the year, when Apple hasn’t released their new models for 2024??? Right!!!!
So far...
Monochrome and grainy phone.
Samsung has a racist camera. Treats different skin colours differently 🤣😂😉
They don't seem to talk about the screen color being a software issue. The screen being dull is likely not because of the anti-glare. The s24 and s24+ also have this washed out screen per others' reports, so it doesn't seem to be the anti-glare. It's likely either a software issue with vivid mode or a real hardware issue. I have noticed the white point is off due to the anti-glare, though. But that can be fixed by reducing the green levels in vivid mode. One thing to note, DxOMark ranked them the number one mobile screen, which makes you wonder if maybe what people like is saturation and not accuracy.
Good point. I think Samsung flagship buyers have become used to heavily saturated displays to show punchy pictures and videos to friends and family on.
That's exactly the reason why I buy Samsung phones lol@@neilmcguinness4422
It's seriously weird how so many try to blame the coating without looking around and seeing everyone with an S24, not just the ultra are having the same issue.
@Mikehud1984 my s24+ has a lunch color to the display. It is a little less punchy than my s23+, but it's nothing noticeable. Honestly the s24+ still looks better because it's brighter and has the QHD.
I don't think it's the screen that's washed out. I think it's just natural mode. I've heard it's a bug where the phone is stuck in natural mode, and they'll be rolling an update out to fix it. I've also heard they did it intentionally to offer a different experience. Has nothing to do with the reflective screen etc.
I understand about NOT waiting 2 months for an update. But you SHOULD do the camera test AGAIN after the update :)
You put too much faith in updates. Many fix very little or even create new problems. UA-cam reviewers simply cannot wait for one potentially worthless update after another.
I'll watch this video after work. Also, I'm loving my S24 Ultra, but I need some app recommendations, especially for the S Pen because I want to enjoy it.

Watching this on my S24 Ultra 😎
Me too
Me too got mine yesterday
I love the flat display.
I've been waiting Years for it.
You do notice that it's much heavier than my Note 10+ & my S22 Ultra.
I just put the amFilm Glass Protector on mine.
The display gets so bright that you don't notice any glare & talk about a perfect screen protector. Wow!
I would stay away from Samsung's TPU Screen Protector.
Before shipping my S22 Ultra off.
I went into the gallery, chose a picture, then clicked on an object, hit the "eye icon" in top right & Boom!
Basically, the "Circle to Search" feature, same results & I didn't even know it did that.
However, I rarely use AI anyway.
My S22 Ultra battery was getting weaker.
Plus, my Carrier offered me $800 for my S22 Ultra, I couldn't pass that up.
Honestly I don't know how adults even notice phone weight.... would double this phones weight for double battery.
I love my S23 ultra and I don't have any scratches and I don't use a case or screen protector
My theory is Samsung will copy the Google 1 storage subscription model. I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max but I’ve always stayed with the Google apps ecosystem (Gmail, Keep, Google Photos, etc). I also have a Pixel 3XL (trade in value wasn’t worth it so I kept it). I can take photos on my iPhone but if I go into Google Photos it won’t let me use features like Magic Eraser. I can use Magic Eraser on my 3XL. If I pay $1.99/month for 100 GB Google 1 plan I also get access to “More Google Photos editing features” and I can use them on my iPhone Google Photos. I think Samsung will copy this model.
Every year is New Samsung the phone of the year 😂 go figure! I have ultra 23 still love it ! Maybe later on i will upgrade!love Samsung phones ❤!
Something I really don’t understand is the “new” display. When you have good eyes you will immediately see that the 2*Amoled display is less vibrant and more important less sharp. It just looks dull and weird. Why nobody is mentioning this? It was immediately visible looking at the display.
I was the first reviewer to mention that the display was less vibrant and we discussed this extensively in this video. Sharpness, I disagree with. My display is as sharp as the S23 Ultra. Are you sure you're on QHD+ mode? (By default the display is set to FHD+)
Because ? Literally most of them are Samsung paid ads UA-camrs ,see how most of them come with the product affiliated link. Only 1/2 of our 100s UA-camrs dare to mention it
Watching this on my tutanium blue 1tb s24 ultra! Upgraded from the s10+, and I absolutely love it! I preorderd it prior to even knowing about the flat display 😅. Was a little sad, but the flat display has grown on me!
shame s pen is not same colour as phone.
@johnscarpetsestablished1983 I know, king of wish my spen was the same shade of blue. But it's that darker Grey that matches the titanium, which makes sense I suppose.
Made the switch from Apple to Samsung for the s24 ultra and I’m having some battery issues and can’t receive notifications until connected to WiFi for some reason. Can anyone help 😭
Call your carrier. If you are only receiving notifications with Wifi only, you could be having data issue.
I had to call my carrier. The phone was reading the Sim card but the device was not properly paired to my plan. Issue was fixed. Best!

I only see 12MP and 50MP under pro mode?? Where is the 24MP option??? Ahhh under the Expert Raw!!
Saf is right when he says the S24 Ultra is an overall Great camera but my issue is the photos in my opinion come out just way too Overexposed and that really puts a big dent in the overall picture quality and performance. Honestly, I think the Pixel 8 Pro is the benchmark for mobile photography at the moment, that sensor is pretty amazing. As far as video performance, the S24 is #1 for me.
Shouldn't be bigger than s 24 ultra
We're now paying $1300 USD for these phones, and you are saying we consumers need to get away from the "free" whatever model you were saying? Huh? We just paid a ton of $ for the phone. Now we're out here paying to use its features? Damn. How far does this extend? Will we start paying monthly for extra battery use? lol
If you're paying a four figure sum of money for a phone, being asked to pay extra to maintain a feature set is unacceptable. Fitbit also do this with their wearables. Why should you have to pay for YOUR metrics that are being measured anyway?!?!?
Apple doesnt give you the discounts that Samsung does. They don't dilute the brand with discounts. Im not saying Samusng dilutes the brand...ok maybe i am, but Samsung isnt greedy like Apple is.
Samsung phone will never pass iPhone 😊
Nonsense as the s24 non ultra is not vibrant either. Phone vivid mode is broken. Sad to see major channels ignoring this. Also the screen is not as bright. Its software issue stop beliveing everything Samsung tells you
Its not about only non vibrant colours, but also the sound is not loud (bass) if you know whats bass, s23 ultra has very thick sound, and curve display looks more premuim phone, so s24ultra is a failed phone.
Battle for the middle man not for the rich we pay alot of money for these devices if the people pay for the phone then there should not be a payed subscription even if it 2 dollars. Bring back the old days. The future of subscriptions will be a form of control. Hope you gentlemen are smart enough to see that.
Lets all remembers, the Pixel camera still wins the blind test. The Samsung and Apple phones trade blows depending on the type of shot.
If the screen's color is washed out because of the anti reflective coating then why will samsung release a vivid control mode on the next update? 🤔
the main part is how does it play in social media , because you might be taking a high quality video and when you post it looses all the quality, Even after you put that setting for high quality
I just ordered mine straight from Samsung.
Cut out the middle man to save money.
Delivery date is 2/26 🙌
