Summary of the video:
1. Start revising early - keep doing this throughout the year!
2. Get involved with as many things as you can - EPQ, DofE, head student/head boy or head girl
3. Start looking at universities e.g accommodation, dm them on social media
4. Speak to as many people as you can - make more friends and talk to more people!
5. Don't spend all of your weekends and holidays going out instead of working.

Perfect video and wonderful tips at the perfect timing. Currently in year 11 and now i am just getting a head start for A-levels as i emailed my teachers to send me the content and they did so i'm just going through that and making some notes every now and then and then also doing some work teachers set. Personally i am very excited and nervous for year 12, can't wait to never wear a uniform again though.

My GCSEs got cancelled, waiting to hear back from the college you go to, I’m reading the books for English and studying the time periods for history and just staying creative for media and continuing with my filmmaking projects!

I'm in year 12 at the moment and I'm really worried about the impact the corona virus is going to have on my a levels (as we are going to have to teach ourselves maybe 1/4 of the course) and also my UCAs application - all of my summer schools, lectures, masterclasses and work experience that I had planned for over summer has been cancelled, we are now having to do our mocks for our predicted grades when we go back to college and we can't even go to taster days, open days ect to make important choices about university :(
Millie Henshaw hey, where do you find summer schools. I just finished year 11 and everyone mentions summer schools but I don’t know where to find any for next summer?

@@beccaxx1162 Nearly all universities provide summer schools. So if you're interested in a particular university see if they offer any summer school programmes. If you don't thats fine, if you're interested in doing a particular subject instead just type into the search engine (subject) summer schools uk or something and loads should pop up x

Sociology and English lit are such interesting subjects would highly recommend sticking with them xx I currently am in Year 12 doing them and I love them .

Maddie Clifford definately! Im in year 13 but if i was in year 12 I would be very distraught and stressed. But im sure you will do fined and the government will definitely take this into account!

Your college website will show the exam board for each course then you can google based off that exam board

Don't stress yourself out!! It will be fine as long as you keep up with the workload, everyone exaggerates year 12 so much but you will honestly be fine x

This might seem like a really silly question but how do you figure out what you want to do for a levels and at university? Honestly I have changed my college application SO many times I think they’re beginning to think I’m a bit weird😂. It’s because I’m interested in a few careers however all off them are really different from each other and I just can’t seem to make a solid decision and stick with it😩
I would honestly go for subjects you love. Don't think too much in a way like 'I'm taking these a levels because I need them to become this' unless its like being a doctor or dentist then you deffo need bio and chem. I'm currently in year 12 and loads of people still don't know what they wanna do at uni yet so don't worry too much on making a definite decision because you can always change in the first few weeks.
i didnt fully choose my a levels until june last year youre fine to be changing them right now as its not an easy decision. my best advice is pick your favourite subjects dont bother too much about deciding on a career yet you have lots of time for that.
Do colleges note books to write in or do you have to buy them yourself? No one has seemed to answer this question haha

Chloe x we broke up in early june last year, but might just be colleges that do that x
You only breakup early bc you have exams in year 11. There’s no exams in year 12 so you’d break up when the school you’re attached to finishes, or 2-3 weeks early if it’s a sixth form on its own
