No one commented on it, but on a desperation 4th down heave that fell short of the end zone, Bynum dived over the goal line to try to intercept the pass and set the offense up at their own 1 yard line.
If he is looking to make top dollar, I personally don't think he's a top dollar safety and they should let him walk. If he wants to win championships and asks for fair compensation they should make every effort to bring him back. I don't think he's a top safety but I think he's good enough to be a successful and important piece here.
When Murphy intercepted a pass inside the five, neither he nor Bynum knew he should not down the ball in the end zone but instead return it as far as he could.
I think the Vikings will re-sign Bynum. They probably have talked contract with him, but their best offer to Cam will come in March 2025, when there are other teams competing for him. 👍
Vikings or individual bias based on team of choice is always prevalent. But truly in today’s NFL I think bottom is a top five safety. Nos how do NFL. Teams see him. My guess would be favorablly. He is athletic, has the speed and intuition to cover both half, and doesn’t allow the big play to happen. I think you are realistically looking at losing both your starting safeties. They have the money to spend on him, lock up an essential piece of your defense. When you have talent, developed by you, you never let them walk away!
One big unknown for 2025 is potential for huge roster turnover next year. I fully trust KAM as he applies contract value to current team members and outside FA’s. KAM will not overpay
Theo Jackson on the cheap might be for the best. And get a monster on DL, 2 monsters on the IOL, monster at CB. 4 are a must. If there is money left then sure. Gotta decide on Byron Murphy too…I know he’s licking his chops about free agency money tho…
Easy choice… let him walk. Here is why, he is subpar at safety he has good moments but also has moments where he is late to the party. Not going to be worth the price tag.
He's a solid safety, but more importantly his locker room presence is invaluable.
I would love him back, but I’m not throwing all the money at him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#13k
ESPN says he will get $16 mill per year in free agency. No way we pay him that much. I want him but he will get more somewhere else.....

If he happens to move on I, for one, have the utmost confidence that Kwesi with draft his heir apparent in the 2025 NFL draft.

I’ll say it just one last time…imagine if Kwesi did it right and we had Kyle Hamilton for a decade instead of having this conversation…😤
He will walk.
Bynum is very very good but he’s not elite

Average safety, I can do with/without him. Do not overpay
Above average safety.
@@bk0333 matter of opinion
They gotta bring him back!!

Cam Bynum has been around the ball lately and proving he's doing the job. I think Kwesi must look long and hard on these safeties.

We love cam great energy
Honestly, for the price tag… Let him go. Metellus way more important to that defense than him on the backend.
They have the money to resign him , so I don't see why they wouldn't
With the talk franchising darnold with hopes of trading him that'll take a lot of money away from the cap
Let him walk and sign Jevon Holland this offseason
Bynum is better than holland:)
resign him for gosh sakes
Gonna be sad bc metellus and him are both best friends and are the guys who keep that locker room together…but i dont think you can sign him…

Trying not to hate over here boys.. I’d rather have JEVON HOLLAND
