    I live in Minneapolis, I’m from Ft Peck. Waiting for the spring right after ice out, big pike up in Rock, Sand Arroyo, and Duck Creek bays... Oh, here is a personal plug for LakeRidge hotel!!!

    I've had perch rocket off bottom. I can only imagine what the hit must be like with a lake trout. Thump, check drag, hold on & work them up to the hole. Great video!

    Would love to see a split screen of the Marcum while the trout is chasing and your lure reaction.

    Got my biggest laker through the ice on a 1/32 oz tungsten jig! 31 inches and just over 10 pounds! Fight was 20 minutes on a 24 inch UL with 4lb line!

    Rookie question here... I’ve noticed when the extra rods aren’t in use they keep tension on the line and the rod is bent over a bit. Is this done on purpose and if so what is the reason?

    • @tylerunderdahl2634
      @tylerunderdahl2634 7 років тому +1

      To keep the hook from swinging around

    • @adamhall2326
      @adamhall2326 7 років тому

      Tyler Underdahl thx for the response. Seemed like that was the basic reason but wasn’t sure if I was missing something where rods were supposed to be stored with tension or something like that.
