- If you have a Ford Ranger or Mazda B Series pickup truck with passenger side wiper arm that does not work, then you need to watch this video. Just replace the wiper linkage/transmission bushing to correct the problem.

Great job! Knowing where this linkage is + auto stores show 49456 not for 2004 Ranger but don't have another one so used it and worked + knowing where the old bushing is and how to pry it off + how to replace it - not possible without your vid...
Great video. This just happened today on my 2009 Ford Ranger regular cab pickup. Passenger side wiper stopped at about a 45 degree angle while the drivers side kept working. I will definitely try this repair now that I see how easy the access is. I also appreciate seeing how tricky it is to clamp it and force it in, and that it may take several attempts to get the bushing to seat properly.

Think that bushing will work on a 2004 ford ranger? I’ve tried so many things that failed. JB weld, wire a few times. But they all fail.

This just happened to my 2004 mazda b2300 today, when I typed this part number in on oreillys it says not compatible with my truck, is there another part number used for this fix. thanks
