This is old fashioned cricket, it was the time when PAKISTANIS would come into pressure chasing score. That's why miandad came as opener to give a smooth chase of score, but the efforts of miandad went into futulity

In the beginning of their inning, when they decided to attack the Australian bowlers, they were successfully smashing the same bowlers whom they seemed to be afraid of otherwise. And as always, as one or two batsmen got out and they started to feel the pressure, they all fell like dominoes.

On one end england wickets kept falling and on the other end , Allan lamb kept whacking everybody including Imran. England lost and if my memory serves me correct, got knocked out of series but i still remember that match because of his brave counter attack. Watching that match highlights made me realize why pakistanis were worried about him coming to bat in 1992 world cup final and why the fall of his wicket was such a huge deal. And to top it all off, wasim akram's delivery made it even a more cherishable moment

And needed a win against Pak to stay alive; Allan Lamb, with his 81 set, u guess, Sydney on fire...grt batting display which I later watched, after listening to live commentary of Hasan Jaleel, Chisty Mujahid n one more famous Pak English commentator on Radio Pakistan, from India.
