- In Today's Furniture Makeover video, we are making over an old nightstand Using The Dixie Belle Alice in wonderland furniture transfer. I am using some grays and a pink to create a simple smoke effect. This is a start to finish furniture flip.

Love this piece. You just can't go wrong with shades of gray and tea rose. Recently completed a desk/vanity with this exact combination. The transfer really adds to it and it turned out gorgeous. Thanks !!

I don't like how there are random pictures throughout the furniture piece, but that's just my taste. I do like the blending and explanation on how to do it. I think that part looks good.
I see what you mean. I tried to make scenes so that it didn't look random. One side is the tea party and the other side is the queen of hearts match 🙂
Can you make a furniture piece in blue or purple colour? I like your gray but I would love to see it in a different colour if possible. You do awesome work!!
That came out great Amy. Really well done. It is such a simple robust looking piece of furniture I find and yet your transformation of it really gave it an entirely different appeal and character to it. Interesting colors you chose and yet I would say it had to do with the colors of the decals that gave the inspiration for the complimentary colors you chose to paint the piece with.
Oh, about that Belle Brush you use for blending. Does that also work with acrylic paints or perhaps with oils when doing landscape paintings on canvas?

Another beauty! Question why do you sometimes use the dixie bell sealer and sometimes use the water polyurethane sealer ?
Thank you! I like them both. I have to order online or run to the retail shop for the Dixie Belle sealer. I usually have some water-based polyurethane on hand so if I run out of one I usually have the other. I like them equally. I think they are both great products.
Are you a Dixie Belle distributor?
No, I'm not. I tried to sell Dixie Belle paint when I had a booth, but another booth in the marketplace was already selling it.
