- A short video of our ride on the east side of Stelvio Pass (downhill). First time riding on this road, with +20kg luggage on each bike. The fun starts at 1:00. The XTX crashed in the middle because of overheated brakes.

i think the music just makes it more exciting because you always think there's going to happen something ^^
the music made it awesome, I usually prefer the sound of the bike but the matrix soundtrack with that downhill run made it sweet
I can see the fun part, starting at 1:00.....but I was waiting for the insane part. Did you edit it out?

I always thought that these supermoto's were quite light weight then again the weight isnt the biggest problem for me. thanks for replying cant wait to get my own.
nice i was thinking of getting one do you use yours as daily commute aswell or only for weekend rides?
No motorway :) We rode almost exclusively on backcountry roads and mountain passes from France to Croatia. But the 690 SMC can handle motorway without any problem.

Both.... this bike is made for that. I know a guy with 60'000 kms on his 690 with no problems and he rides on a track sometimes, he even went with us to Sweden 2 years ago, and he drove more than 800 kms on the motorway in a single day... Trust me this bike can handle everything. The only bad point is its weight...

Super vidéo et super réaction du pilote qui laisse passer: savoir ralentir parfois pour ne pas prendre de risques inutiles c'est la classe, beaucoup devraient s'en inspirer. Par contre, si je comprends bien, le mec qui dicte l'allure est le mec en... 34 chevaux??? Sans vouloir mésestimer les qualités du pilote, pas bon pour l'ego des autres ça...
FlecheDeFer Merci ! Malheureusement ralentir et laisser passer les autres n'aura pas suffit, il aurait fallu s'arrêter complètement et attendre que les freins refroidissent... Effectivement celui qui dicte le rythme est en 34, mais en descente la puissance n'est pas vraiment déterminante, contrairement à la montée où il était largué. De plus c'était le moins chargé donc il freinait mieux ;)
RidingtheAlps Oui j'ai vu ça sur la vidéo longue! Il a eu de la chance de ne pas avoir de ravin sur ce virage. En tous cas, belle attaque de tous et super editing, ça fait plaisir à voir!
