Our hero’s wife passed away in a car crash and her sister notified him of her passing. He had a hard time coping with the loss and couldn’t even go to her funeral that was held in her hometown, far away from their home.
A few weeks later, debt collectors came to the grieving husband and said his wife owed the bank a huge sum of money. The man didn’t have that much money and had no idea what to do. His sister-in-law, who was very supportive all along, said the only way to pay off her late sister’s debts was to sell the house. And she volunteered to help him sell it.
After the sale was finalized, the sister took the money and went to hand it over to the collectors. Her brother-in-law had nowhere to go, so she offered him to stay at her place for some time. Back then our hero had no idea that all that was an elaborate scheme and he was right in the middle of it.
Matthias was a sweet man. Unfortunately he was too trusting. Maggie is a gold digging liar. I'm surprised that Chloe was taken in by her sister. I'm glad that Chloe and Matthias talked and decided to start over. They were both deceived by Maggie. They seem like caring people. I'm glad they ended up together.
Chloe is an angel 😇 May she and Mattias live happily ever after 😊

I bet one of the off screen scene was that Maggie demands that Chloe gives her back her husband.
Chloe and Mathias made it clear that Maggie was no longer welcome in their lives. Instead of faking her death, lying about her debts and claiming he was abusive to her just to cover up her affairs, she should've been honest and tell him the truth. Maggie could explain that she had found someone else whom loves her and she loves back. That she knows Mathias is a great guy and never meant to hurt him. Maybe he could've let her go and they could've divorced amicably. Maggie would've been able to give her love to her new man with a clear conscience and Mathias would've been able to be with Chloe.
@@ladyfire44 I can tell just by looking: Chloe is Maggie's little sister who has a good heart and Maggie took advantage of that and fooled her easily with made up lies. And Maggie clearly didn't think Mathias was good enough for her, so she might of thought what she did "put him in his place".

Maggie was such a cruel, selfish person! Why did she hate Matthias so much? He seemed like such good man and wonderful husband who truly loved her. At least her sister, Chloe, turned out to be a nice, decent girl who truly cared about Matthias. She is so much better for him. Maggie deserved what she got.

I learnt one thing from this story that we must listen to the person trying to explain everything after which we can decide whether to believe it or not. Another thing I learnt that if a girl truly loves you regardless you love her or not, give her dignity and honour which she deserves and then say " No " politely and kindly if you don't love her but never ever be rude or ruthless to her 🙏
Maggie was cruel and selfish and stooped very low. Good thing Matthias and Chole managed to find a way out and punish Maggie for her misdeeds.
It's a good thing Chloe and Matthias saw right through the scheming Maggie . As they've decided not to have anything more to do with her , they had to throw her out for good . Now , it's Maggie's turn to face the consequences . Good story .
The 1st wife & older sister is a liar. She deceived, manipulated & set up both her younger sister & husband. So she can do everything she wants like good digging. She deserved karma for using them. Serves her right.

That Maggie women deserved what was coming to her and people like her bring out the worst in women who lie and shamed their partners just because they don’t want to take accountability which is pretty cowardly. He’s a nice guy that deserves so much better and I’m glad him and Chloe found each other.

If she didn’t want him, she should have told instead of making this drama. And I can’t understand why she took that loan to leave him for it after her faked death? At least she could’ve left him without making him penniless!
Well I have no sympathy for Maggie because she got what she deserved in the end for faking her own death and deceived both her husband Matthias and her sister Chloe as she's now rejected and abandoned by everyone who once love her but not anymore. I really don't understand why Maggie would a terrible thing to her husband Matthias in the first place but what I do know that she never really love or care for him unlike her sister Chloe as she was the only person who truly love or care for Matthias. I'm glad in the end of the story Matthias has end up with Chloe💖 and happily married because they both destined to be together forever.

Poor Matthias and Chloe! He's a sweet man but he's a little too trusting especially when it came to his ex-wife Maggie. I'm glad that he was able to pay off the debt and live with her sister and at the same time, somewhere out in the world Maggie is getting her comeuppance for lying and cheating which is against the good book. I cannot believe that she would do this to her own husband and her sister. And Chloe I feel really bad that she has a sister that is conniving and gold digging and deceptive. Mathias is a gem of a person and his wife betrayed him for no reason at all- making him upset and cry and also burdening him with a large sum of money which had to be paid off at such a stressful and heartbreaking time was pure craziness when he didn't even do anything to her. It was great news that Mathias found true love in the end and also that his wife had got what she rightfully deserved. Now she would feel the same pain and suffer.

It's a double-standard
Mathias won in the end when everyone learned about Maggie's cruelty to him and including how she lied to Chloe just to cover up her string of affairs with different men. They saw how much of a tyrant and manipulative snake she really is underneath. Even after being kicked out of Mathias and Chloe's lives, Maggie still didn't understand how her actions have consequences until she started dating her new boyfriend, Rick. He returned the favor to her by being a real tyrant and mistreated her the same way that she did to Mathias. Eventually, Rick kicked Maggie out after he was caught cheating on her with her friend, Ashley. She tried to go back to Chloe's house and is denied entry. She and Mathias orders Maggie to leave even after she told them about Rick. They point out it's not their concern anymore and she deserved the karma. After she leaves, Maggie finally learns a hard lesson in respecting people for who they are and appreciating them. She tried to spin a web of lies to save herself, but caught caught on her own thread and is left alone.

The husband, Matthias, was visit by two people, the debt collectors told him that he had to pay the loan in one month and it was so much money that his wife took out! What he should've done was to investigate the loan! When was it taken out that much money 🤑 and why? But he just didn't do anything about it and just sold his house! That's a dumb thing he had done! He shouldn't have to pay his debt with his house! What if he had no place to go! When both sister didn't want to take him! You never know what's going to happen to you! But I'm glad he had take in by one of the sister! It's a damn lesson! 🤔
