You know I had a close relationship with my late stepmother in fact whenever I think of her I don't think of my stepmother I think of my mom and I miss her just as much as I miss my first mother
I do feel sorry for poor Chloe since she never really done anything wrong towards her boyfriend's daughter Vicky as she only wanted to be part of her life as her Step-mother but Vicky never given her a chance at all. What Vicky did to Chloe is unforgiven and selfish all because she was afraid that Chloe will take her father away from her if they end up getting married which explain why she did those terrible thing to Chloe. If Vicky have just got to know Chloe in the first place instead of wasting her time plotting to get rid of her then things would have worked out which it did at the end of the story anyway thanks to Chloe.
This kind of thing is common in children. When their parents get divorced, they tend to display irregular patterns of behavior. Vicky disliked Chloe from the start because she felt that she would take her father away from her. That explains why she did all those horrible things to her, but I'm glad the family is happy together again.
Yeah, but her burning Chloe was out of line. I think Vicky should have gone to therapy. They all should have but you are right it is harder for kids especially when they are older. It not easy for both the child and the stepparent.
