Honestly even if you the player are good at the game, these can be pretty useful for quick and or easy strategies to make your life and playthrough easier.
With Rachel, a running Y will always hit Niche, even when she is hovering in the air (as long as she's not way up there). However, Ishtaros loves to get laser happy on me whenever I start the running Y strat so I tend to use it during the mission mode instead.
Before I played this game I heard that the Rachel missions are one of the biggest offenders against this game that made it inferior to Black, but after I've played them all myself, I think the only bad thing about them is that they ruin the momentum going on with the plot. I think her gameplay is fun in a vacuum, it's fun to flip over enemy heads and charge up UTs. In a since I'd rather she were her own separate mode similar to the Vergil modes in DMC, rather than sandwiched in the middle of a great story. She was probably rushed out pretty quickly though for the sake of putting another feature on the back of the box, I'd imagine.
@@MAYOFORCEThey are playable on the challenge mode but for real I think they needed their own unique campaign because Sigma 2 Rachel was a big upgrade
@@devilbringer1102 Sigma 2 is a lot more baffling in that regard. All three girls are pretty great but they're only playable on what is essentially a tutorial for them. I'll have to check out the challenge modes someday I guess
I reaaaaally hate platforming in this game. The idea of it is cool (running along walls and such) but my GOD he's damn near impossible to control a lot of times. You have to hit the walls at the right angle (which is hard when you are running everywhere really fast) and half the time he wants to do a running back flip off the wall. Then you gotta deal with the janky ass camera on top of it. Im a huge fan of action platformers when theyre done right but, this is just poorly designed for a more modern game. I get that this is a straight up action/hack and slash game but the platforming is terrible. It wants to be like Shinobi but does it really poorly. I wish you could choose when to have your weapon out. Trying to platform when he is in combat mode is so janky. Hes all over the damn place
Even outside of combat the platforming is downright bad. Like I love the combat but sometimes the camera and the platforming really made me think you guys were just pretending this game is fun.
Spent a bunch of time on killing these girls because I heard you don't get to fight them as Ryu in normal. Pretty terrible boss honestly and reward straight up sucks 😐 Edit: Yeah killed them after a few more tries. Reward is terrible. Don't really care for not fighting them as Ryu tbh, since they are pretty poorly designed and this game has enough reuses without them
I guess I'm the only one who enjoyed Rachel's chapters, even if she just can't help getting kidnapped every 5 minutes.

Same dude. Like I was starting to enjoy her mission before finding out this is her last lol. And those two unbeatable boss
@@ahmadkhairul337 And then Sigma 2 adds Rachael, Momiji and Ayane and only gives them one mission each, like why bother

The fact you dont get a like and sub for each video from the people watching is criminal
