Absolutely the worst commentators. I want to watch the kata and not hear them talk. They hardly said anything while the athletes from Turkey were performing and they wouldn’t shut up when the other athletes were performing. This happened with the women too. Couldn’t enjoy the kata.

I dont know why, but very rare to see kankusho performance this time, see through to all japan championship, only sensei koji arimoto used kankusho kata between all shotokan competitors, japanese karateka properly choose empi than playing kankusho, i dunno why.

The kata players seemed kinda off in their performance, I notice. I guess that’s what happens when you’re purely training and off competition for a long time.
What to say. Both made technical mistakes, especially Aka. Both did too soft, especially Ao. I couldnt see any of the techniques to be a "killing one". But I liked the silence. It should be always like that:)

Agree... Respect must to be for all athletes. If they don't talk about the athlete in performance, better don't talk.
These commentators are awfuly annoying! Didn't stop speaking during Damian's performance as they did with Sandra's. Extremely disrespectful!
