I hear people say Earl’s “offbeat” flow is ass but it takes real skill to rap off beat on purpose. I think there’s a point where all of the best rappers get so good at rapping that they have to break it altogether. Refreshing as hell and its amazing to see Earl master that “SRS” sound. We gonna look back in retrospect and see how important this regime of rappers/producers really was. Me personally, ima appreciate it for what it is RIGHT NOW

I don’t even consider it off beat. The beat off him. Same with Armand Hammer. Its like regular/mainstream hip hop that follows usual formulas are like realism paintings. Earl, Billy ELUCID are abstract (paintings) rappers. Speaking of abstract art they remind me more of Basquiat than self proclaimed fanboy Jay Z. They are boundary pushing. Keeping it orginal.

A would argue that Armand Hammer are in a way a more twisted, off kilter and abstract reimagination of Mobb Deep in a way, sure, their decisively avant rap approach will never get them the fame, stardom or popularity of a another legendary duo like Outkast for example but AH are really great at what they do, they experiment and rap their asses off every track they get, and never let a feature go on any rappers project without killing it, in that way they remind kinda like Mobb Deep, they're real spitters and storytellers, plus their production is ahead of its time just like Mobb Deep's was when "The Infamous" dropped.

I really don't know how to analyze this in one take. In fact, I haven't been able to form a sentence around this track since it's been on repeat. It's a flawless examination of the delicate, and complex, yet tightly compacted, use of words. It's truly art whipped by the tongue. Armand Hammer complement Earl's lyricism, like a knife cutting through butter. Fuck.

I take it nobody has found his entire secret album with Alchemist that was put on UA-cam for a joke. It's a shame cause I'm sure it's a banger.

I’m at a point in my life where major changes are happening (home, work, car, etc) and I’ve been leading up to this so I can start a “clean slate” in my new life and Earl verse is masterfully crafted. He describes a frustration you can only understand after changing your life drastically. Maybe this is why people love “I don’t like sh* I don’t go outside” and I don’t, in jus not depressed

Zimbabwe doesn't have any car manufacturers and the people there have a tendency of driving with cars on empty, like they'll keep the car going put it in neutral until it reaches their destination. Because fuel in itself is scarce and affording it is not the easiest thing, coupled by the fact that there are unreasonably long queues at gas stations
