I always fall in love with broken jewelry, too. And I don’t mind wearing it in a creative way… That backless Victorian locket just needs a back! It could easily be made functional. A beautiful haul again! Thank you.
Oh I’m so glad you said that! I was thinking it wasn’t a regular old D and couldn’t find one like it online. Thanks a million for telling me. Cheers! Sandra
I have never shopped at Pawn shops but now I will check them out. The antique dragon necklace is fabulous and I think you should keep it! I am so happy for you!
Thank you for your amazing videos. I love all jewelry, antique, vintage, modern. I don't mind if something is broken, because I find a way to use it either to wear or in a display. Then we can keep appreciating the history, craftsmanship and design. Great videos!
wow wow wow first time watching love the Coro duet! what a beautiful piece I am so jealous! Someday I will own one too! Great purchases wonderful pieces now following you !
Some lovely finds .I like the way Some broken jewellery looks I think it's that faded grandure look one idea is to get an old picture frame and glue them round the frame would look lovely on your dressing table
You can put tarnish back on that bangle by putting in a ziplock bag with a hard boiled egg. Cook the egg to hard boiled let it cool crumble it up in a ziploc bag and put the bracelet in and leave for an hour or two. Then check it. If it’s not tarnished enough leave it in longer until it gets to the desired color you want. It won’t damage the piece and when it’s at the tarnish level you want wash it off with water and dry it completely. I’ve done this a lot to tarnish pieces that I had to clean to get the verdigris off. It works Everytime. Hope this helps. Also you can look it up on UA-cam and there is some videos on it. Love all the amzing, unusual jewelry you find. I also find lots of amazing antique and Victorian jewelry. I want to start doing videos to show all of my amzing finds. Including my most recents find of a 1920-1940’s Cartier 18kt diamond and ruby bird brooch that sold last year for $15,000. You never know what’s waiting to be snatched up❤️
I know there's stuff you can buy that adds tarnish also that I've used. I'm tempted to do the hard-boiled egg experiment, but now I'm thinking somebody might love the fact that's it's so shiny -- haha! CONGRATULATIONS on the Cartier brooch -- OMG OMG OMG!!!! How wonderful!!! Thanks for watching, lemme know if you start a UA-cam channel -- I will sub for sure!! Cheers!

Hi Tesora, thanks for watching. I am not that great at it and don't really have a camera set-up to properly film it. I might try it at some point. Thanks for the suggestion. Cheers!
What is it will Coro pieces and missing stones. Both my Coro pieces have missing stones. But I still love ❤️ them. Sandra your content is off the cart. Love it
I think it's just so common with not only Coro, but all old jewelry pieces with glued in stones -- for sure! Missing stones don't really bother me that much either -- it's hard to even notice if you're wearing it, right? Thanks so much for watching!
Taxco is not just a little town in México.. It is a mine city....there's a Silversmith university... That piece that you showing...is probably from de 50's...at it shows the name of the family's silversmith.. Highly collectible... And expensive between people that really know. All the pieces with that tipe of stamps Are vintage from 40,'s till 70's A little bit of information will help.
No offense meant by “little”…. It is not a slight on this wonderful city. I actually delved into Taxco and William Spratling on a silver video last year. I think it’s an amazing place with wonderful artisans. Thanks for the additional info and thank you for watching.
Hi, thanks for watching. I actually really like that ring quite a bit, but everyone is different. I think it's very well designed and nicely made. Just my opinion. I think it retailed for $200+... Thanks again, cheers.
The crescent moon Naja with the turquoise teardrop may be Native American Sterling piece signed by the artist.
You may be right. I’ll have to research further. Thanks for watching 😊

Oh and I think the large violin might be a chello
It looks like it but it is a violin. Coro made 2 violins, and this is the larger one. Thanks for watching!
Do you have a video showing how you fix and or replace stones on brooches etc. Very interested in learning..great vid:)

@@TheFunkyPickleThrifter he says it was like a city. They had giant freight elevators and a rail line.
It seems awesome, but probably very difficult and skilled work. xo

Yes I do! If you'd like, email me at iamthefunkypickle at gmail. Thanks.

If the brooches read "West Germany," they are from 1949 - 1990 when West Germany existed.
Yup. I remember when the wall came down for sure! Cheers
