Now, what happens when you want the circle to be your material surface? I have purchased a wood blank circle that I want to carve. I do not see an option to draw a circle and then have that as my working material. The round is approx. 18 inches in diameter and has a thickness of one inch. This maybe easy for some, but have only had our machine, a Next Wave Shark, HD510 since December. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, and thanks for the question. If you draw a vector circle the same size as your blank, and use it as your design boundry and/or the machining boundry you should be OK. Seeing as we are not sure of your end design it is hard to give direction. It might be best to send an email off to support@vectric.com with a description of the project and materials.

I just downloaded vcarve pro v12, Tried simple circle and it came out no different than 11.5. it did not look like what you demonstrated in this video. No radius line or box to edit the size of the circle. As I said no different than the pervious version.
Hello and thanks for the comment. You will need to be in the 3D view. This is new to v12, where you can draw directly in the 3D view, and also that is where we have implimented the "edit fields". Give that a try... :)
@@vectric That worked. Thanks. I teach the classes for our makerspace version and am trying yo get a head start before you put out v12 for makerspace.
