Great to see how the Harrogate Caravan Park is doing. We visited it many times, years ago , when that site was leased to The Caravan Club, and it was pretty much all grass pitches and often a bit boggy. The lease ended, not renewed, and the new management has hugely improved the site. We visited on its first year of operation. Nice to see how it has been completely revamped. Our dogs just love the long, wild walks by the viaduct, further along railway road. Great stuff. Great place.
Hi Bob and Jenny when I been on the lorries for 34 years the best road I love to up and down is the A1 then over the A66 love it most of the time hgv class 1 love the video as all way . have good day motorhome show . take care both of you see you next time .
Hi Jenny and Bob. Thanks for the video, we enjoyed it. We were near that site a short while back at a craft fair so we saw familiar sights. We've booked a place near Bourton-on-the-Water for July (thanks to your video), so, looking forward to that.
Bob. We live in Wetherby and you are quite right about the condition og the road on the roundabout and entrance to the services,UNBELIEVABLE, Have a great visit to Harrogate. We were going today but Ive done my back in so enjoy it for us too.
We used Wetherby when we did wharfedale, the road in is atrocious, we went to the lorry part first and got shifted into the designated bays, hubby did the navigation that day and I was towing! When we got into the caravan the clothes rail was off its pegs in the wardrobe, I’m sure it was that wetherby road.
Have a lovely time at the show, bet you couldn't wait for this one to come round, slowly starting to feel a bit more normal again 😁 Hopefully plenty of goodies to buy and we may see a review or two from your purchases soon? 👍
You could lose your motorhome in some of those potholes at Wetherby services. You don't half need Levellers on some of those pitches. Sterling work on the camera at the end Mr McKay😜
I've only ever had two, the Phantom Tracker and the Swift factory fitted tracker. The phantom tracker was proactive and told you if the motorhome was moving when it wasn't supposed to. Like when I forgot to disable it!
1:40 I'd have gone up past Clitheroe, just 78 miles, same time wise but much nicer run. Edit 13:29 having said that with the car in tow I can understand choosing to go the way you did.
Hi , nice looking site, enjoy the show x

Great video - we're planning to be there in August (pandemic allowing), so a tour of the facilities was super useful!
Glad it was helpful!

Love the Victor Meldrew impression, that Services slip road was bad. It wasnt like that last time I called there.

Perhaps, that was Thursday, after United lost the Europa final but before City lost the Champions league final. 😢😁
