When I was a child in Okeechobee Fla. the neighbor was on his riding lawn mower and his kid's foot got taken off by it. It could not be reattached. That was a traumatic day. God Bless you. I'm proud of your son, too. And, you both as his parents.

So what, it's a home now not a shed. I wish I had one, & your right nowadays a stove is not necessary. A convection oven, microwave, electric skillet, airfryer will do. Cleaning a stove is a pain anyway! 👍

My husband said “ that’s the best house tour I’ve watched” . I’m thinking 🤔 “ NO oven? No comfy sofas? But he has a jacuzzi? Hardly any storage? Real gorgeous mans house. I wish you nothing but the best with your projects. You must have worked SO hard to get this far. Just shows you that having 1&1/2 legs doesn’t hold you back! Can’t wait to see what comes next.

It serves as plenty for me, my wife, and son perfectly.
Low costs and quicker ownership buddy 👍. Yours is alot nicer looking inside and big property too... Very cool.
Same idea.. should payoff everything in about 5 years or lil longer. Figure by 40 we will be debt free.... Other then the normal non sense taxes, utilities, insurance etc.
But it would drop our monthly living costs to about $800 a month 😁👍 I can't wait.. keep on pushing man. Great home
Be able to work less and save more.... and spend more time having fun with the family...

I'm trying to convince my son to do it ..sometimes I feel like I'm fighting a loosing battle I've figured up some rough numbers on the project minus the farm animals and it could absolutely be done ..what he pays in rent and utilities for something that will never be his he could be debt free except a few minor expenses every month but nothing close to the roughly $1500 a month he pays now.. I'd like to know when I leave this world he's in a better place more security.

You're gorgeous!! I just bought land! On my land is a barn, a double wide 3 bedroom home in 2 pieces, a carport, 1000 gallon well that's been cleared by inspector, electric and a water co-op and 1.3 acres! I have alot of work to do. I paid in cash. I'm looking at solar stuff too. Including those solar motion sensor lights!! I am SW of Tucson and in the sun! Im with you on the no oven! I'm a griller!! I'm trying to figure out if I should salvage my house on the property or just do a tiny home. I just got my second AZ Contractors License for repair/remodel and would love to do a shed conversion. I look at 50ft insulated refrigerator box trucks, sheds, metal barn builds, arched tiny home builds, bus conversions, 5th wheel convsrsions, CHOICES CHOICES!! I love the barn style doors, my plan is to have those over some of my windows too! Shiplap looks good in the bathroom. And I love the floating shelves!!! Truly inspiring! I love pop color too but teal blue is my favorite. I'm planning on going with lots of greens and woods. I'm from Longview TX btw! I love pocket doors/ shelves as well! Love sliding walls!! Genius! We have the same plan! I paid cash. I will be paying for everything in cash. I have 0 debt as well!!! I'm 36 and I own 1.3 acres. My American dream too!!! I got everything for 31k. I'm looking for my next investment property!!
Where I'm zoned I can have agricultural, livestock, RVs, mobile homes, permits for tiny homes are encouraged in my county (Pima County) 0 time restrictions 0 building restrictions.

You know it will be a great feeling to be debt free.
We worked real hard to be debt free.
    And we did it.
Now we are 66 and my husband can retired when he was almost 64.
I think it was enough 49years hard working.
And now we have fun. No debt at all.
    It is great.
    So you enjoy your life.
In the Netherlands we grow up, when you like to have something you work and save when you have enough saved you buy.
When we were living there ther was no mc or visa.
So we teach our kids to do the same.
    And they doo.
    God bless you!!!
You have a beautiful house love all the rustic.
We immigrate in '95 to Canada.
