Its been so long since I have ran through quarters. Was a fun hunt. Not surprising to see the mint is still doing great at there job of making plenty of errors. Happy Hunting
I found a Wong quarter with 100% edge damage on the front. The entire front outside edge looks like it has been roughly over pressed but the roughness “lines” circle the quarter moving from inside to outside consistently with no damage to the interior except to the very outside edges of LIBERTY lettering with extra material. It’s like the entire outer front edge was damaged on the die when it pressed the quarter … not just too much pressure. It also may be slightly ly thinner than a normal quarter. I only have one of these but I sandwiched it in line and in the middle of two other quarters between two pieces of aluminum and the center quarter slid out when turned sideways. Not noticeable visible difference until I turned them. The back is fine and the outer ribbed edge is basically fine including the bevel on both sides all around the quarter. Appears Same height as other quarters.
Sharing actual knowledge be extremely helpful for your channel gaining views. Sharing what you don't know about coins does help the community. Thank you Sir!
Not sure if you have some typos in here but I share my knowledge when I have it and I try to be clear when I don’t and ask for help from the community. These quarters had been in the wild for a few weeks when I got a box of them. Not a lot of collective knowledge to pull from at the time. I was doing my best to share what I found. And please if you have knowledge to share… please do so.
To my understanding, the whole industry is getting turned over. Numismatics is The brilliant recession proof investment industry for the common folk that need something to access more deeper pockets, just to get by. Keep the content coming! I didn't want to be discouraging in any way. The language I was hearing during the first 5 minutes was a lot of "I don't know". Which I understand. Ive been encouraging myself to discover that which I don't yet know. UA-cam is a great platform for learning. Keep up the good work and discover what you dont yet know and open up the topic for the public to learn whilst being entertained 😉

This is just a really fun hobby for me, but I do have 2 kids and a full time job and sometimes I just don't have time to do the research. I try though. This has been a fun journey for me and I have enjoyed sharing my hunts, my finds and the knowledge that I am always picking up from week to week with my audience. I may not always get it right, but I try to.
Just found you,,, sorry for being a new comer. But I was searching about the Anna may Wong quarters.. I was curious about the eyebrow over taking the bangs? I have 1 out of 4 that does that. Also are you missing any more state quarters I have extra I'd be willing to share
Nah... Its been a LONG time since I posted this video. I have completed two complete sets of quarters since posting this. Not sure about the eye brow question. Need to look into it. I actually stopped looking for any of these errors because they are just far too common.
I agree I'm not sure if it's from polishing or the die. I have two of them that are in the Liberty with the top half of its not completely missing but faded like the eye and t and someone is doubling too in the letters in Liberty. And I better tell you this one I'm a beginner Thanks for the video Lou
I ALSO found a BUNCH of " Kansas quarters" with " weak impressions " in the lettering! Perhaps....there is far TOO MANY of these " errors " to make them VALUABLE!!

I had a sinus bug that my son gave me. I lose my voice all the time when I get these kinds of illnesses and it takes forever to come back 100%. I’m probably 90% now and there probably is a little allergy and body reaction to the dry air from the heater being on.
I have an Anna May Wong with two rings going around most of the coin going through the I and T. They are struck down by the whatever made it it also is through the Y in Liberty
If it’s post mint damage then worth 25 cents. If it is a mint manufacturing error than probably worth some money. Check eBay to see if anyone has sold one that looks like yours.
I wish I had a camera like yours I found one Anna May quarters with a pretty big imperfection on her pinky knuckle I can't tell if it's a high spot or a low spot
I am looking forward to getting my first microscope before long. The eye loops are good, but things will be so much more efficient with the scope. Where is the best deal on slabs? Anybody have a recommendation? Glad you found the Maine D you were looking for. I am pretty sure I have one of those.
Honestly I don't know as I have never bought a slabbed coin online (other than my ms69 Marvel Spiderman only because it was same price as unslabbed). I checked metalmarkup.com and findbullionprices.com and neither seem to index graded stuff. I would check out your local LCS as well as price compare to the 8-10 major online dealers and try and get your best price. Another option would be to find your local coin show... probably some good deals to be had there.
I bought two rolls of quarters recently. All of them were from the bank, look mint for the most part. But I looked at one along the way and it looks like an extra eyelash over her left eye. Is this a recognized error?
I’ve not heard of an eyelash error. Could be post mint damage, a die chip or crack or a ddr, but it’s most likely just post mint damage. Tough to say without seeing it but quick search not seeing anything based on description.
No official grading to attribution is done via email or picture. You can get opinions from most UA-camrs by emailing them. I’m always happy to give an opinion when I have time. Coinhelpu has a great forum for posting coins and getting feedback.

I have a "p" drooling George futureing Anna may Wong chiped nail and what appears to be a wet run down her face like tear bad fallen there..the tears that's in other Wong quarters are in the middle of my quater Wong face. I haven't checked for more yet. I wanted to look up and find value.

Found a Anna May (P) that has a die chip on both the nose and on Washington lip giving it that "Drool". Found in Pocket change. Any Ideal worth in "Fair" condition?
A normal person can't walk into a bank and get boxes of coins their so many you can get..I live on the west coast the odds of getting a P mint coins would be next to impossible
I’m a normal person. I get lots of boxes of coins from the bank. It does take some time and relationship building but there is nothing special about me that allows me to get boxes. You are right about mints though. I get way more P minted coins in Georgia than I do D minted coins. It’s exactly the opposite for west coast.
@@GASilverHunter I've been into plenty of bank asking for boxes of coins I've been told boxes are for business those business order the boxes of coins.. I can't amagin Bank giving boxes of coins to people. Then turn around and have to order more. Bank have so much coins on stock for their customers. I've been collecting coin for the last few years now o probably found 5 p mint coins out of a 100.00 dollar worth of coins.
@@rondolan6457 your imagination is letting you down. I don’t have business accounts at any of the banks I get coins from. I did a whole video on this. If a bank won’t give you coin or order boxes for you… move on. I am a member of 3 banks and probably go into 10-12 banks/branches a week. I have 2 that order coins for me regularly and 1-2 others that if they have spare customer wrapped or fed wrapped coins they will sell them to me. The rest of the branches I just go in and see what the tellers have in their trays or ask for random rolls of change. Even some of the banks I don’t belong to recognize me now and will sell me rolls even though it is “against policy”

I've seen a variety of coins like these.
I've rerolled and swapped out with my bank probably $500.00 worth of quarters in the last month or so.

My quarter states Pluribus Unun rather than Unum. Just wondering what to do with this one or if it has significant value.
Probably a grease strike... no idea on the value. Check ebay for similar coins.

Most likely ring of death caused by rolling machine. So just damage.

It’s not. It’s the shadowing from the coin being super shiny and the way the scope picks up those shadows.

Got a an lob scope . Works very well cost was 60$ ish. Was a gift to me. Look it up

I’ve seen another die chip error that looks like Anna is crying. Not sure how common it is.
The ones on the reverse are fairly common. I think the nose die chip is more rare.
