Another well produced/edited video from my favourite area of the country. Just to the rear, and a few hundred metres up is " surprise view" which gives a 180 degree view of gorgeous lake derwent catbells etc.

Still at place we’d love to visit. We almost booked the Spa for our anniversary last week, but didn’t have time to fit it in. They do a room that overlooks the river at the back too which looks lovely. Sundays dinner looked nice. Thanks for sharing Alan 👍🏻 we’ll defo try it out soon.
You should, it is such a special place to stop overnight but not cheap, so only a very special occasion for us lol. The only issue I had when we stopped overnight is the spa is an additional cost on top of your hotel cost, so even more expensive. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan

A place of such quality, cleanliness and professionalism certainly warrants those prices. Didnt I see your Eaton Mess with the Club Sandwich? Well deserved of the 9, other than the serving snafu! Done many walks around Lodore when we used to stay frequently in Rosthwaite. 👍 will start saving up for my club sandwich now!

Wow, the hotel is sophisticated and modern and yet the beauty of surroundings are remarkable OMGoodness, what's the charming way to serve a lunch.! The hot sandwiches are my type of orders. I can see you satisfaction already, so did Mrs. Metalman. Well done, Mr. and Mrs. metalman. Apologies for my belated comment. Due to the life-time experience, evacuating from the natural disaster, flooding to hurricane Milton with category 5. My city takes another several weeks to restore the water system. I am having difficult time myself in FL as the hurricane season started. I will catch up on your vids ASAP. Please accept my apologies.

That's a very classy place, Alan, and we've never been in it - been behind it, been in front of it, but never in it. I did like the look of that Sandwich, and could have tucked into that quite easily. With Linda's tea and cake, I think it's a general issue in hospitality, they make the tea and coffee too early, and you have it drunk before the meal/food comes. But then I'm not an expert food reviewer!! Going to a wedding tomorrow in one of the best local hotels, expect the food to be top notch, that's my hope anyway, no formal review!! Probably traditional wedding fayre, but will be a long day.....Regards, Ashley

Yess alan pal that was a doorstopper of a sarnie class looked nice mate never been in here myself as did think it was a book and enter place so nice one for letting me no you can call in for food and drinks I'm doing bessy boot soon so might just treat myself while here looks real tidy inside glad yous both enjoyed it marra good stuff as always mate
We were the same for years but yes, you can pop in for drinks and food and it is really nice in there, great food and good service in a nice surroundings. Good luck with Bessy Boot, if you go up from the camp site it is one steep assent and (in the wet) very slippery climb up too, not one you would want to do coming down.
