I just competed this cart build for my Bolt. Simple but effective plan and fits perfectly in my shop. One curiosity question, any particular reason for the shorter side of the top is 29.5" when the frame is 29". The longer side is 37" which matches the frame size of 37". Note: I plan to box in the bottom to create a closed-in storage, so it didn't matter to my build. Keep information flowing. Thanks

I make the cart a little bigger so it your rolling it around and bump into something it will hit the cart not the laser

Great cart! I received my Bolt about a week ago and "thought" it would be okay on a set of Ikea Alex cabinets. Everything online said that it should work... but... I found one of the cabinets (it has drawers) had some indicators that it may be starting to collapse so we immediately moved the Bolt to an adjustable table that I have that will hold 200 pounds but would not be a long-term solution. My husband and I headed to Home Depot with the material and cut list and had someone there help us. They made sure we got the best wood options and cut EVERYTHING for us - even the 2x4's! We could have done it but not as neatly as they did. We brought everything home and my hubby put it together without a hitch (we are not builders at all but just the pictures and the video were all we needed). My Bolt is now perched on it's new cart and it's the perfect height for me (I'm also vertically challenged)!. Thanks so much for posting this - couldn't have done it without your video.

A friend built 2 of these for our new shop. Easy to follow directions, sturdy cart. Thanks!

I would like to make it so the Top and bottom come off. It would allow for disassembly, never know when you might need to take the cart apart for some reason. What would be the best way to make a pocket for the legs to be inserted into so it is snug and not wobbly?

I just use screws that way I can disassemble if I need to!

What 1” lag bolts specifically did you end up using?
    I see: 1/4”, 5/16, 3/8, #14. Lol I’m lost.

It depends on how big the mounting holes are in your wheels. That’s why I did t specify

Those wheels are never going to hold up a NOVA 24.

Big difference in weight between the bolt at 143 pounds and the nova 24. This cart in not supporting a nova 24 although I built a cart just like this for my 24 and I never had an issue.

Just out of curiosity, why no drawers or storage shelves in the open cavity below?

If you notice at the end of the video I did add another floor on the cart. This will work well to lay my wood and acrylic flat. But you sure could do drawers .

Could you tell me how high the actual engraving table is with that cart height?
