What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for UA-cam, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! Lol I was doing the same for the Shot gun and the other gun he found at the start. They are 2 hand weapons which means you can equip them in slot 1 and 2
I have learned to not watch him play anything I've played. I end up spending too much time trying to yell to him through my phone/tv.
@@einherjar3095 Yea lol glad he's liking it but there is so much food in this game that there is no need to hoard as much as he is. Another thing is when he left books behind. You can read the books until you max out the skill. So early on try to hold on to 1's and 2's and keep a magazine around to get mind back up
You probably realize by now that you need to check everything, you passed at least 3 backpacks, and a bunch of lock picks right in and around the safe area and the first town you visited.
Fair enough to say that if Kage848 thinks a game is fun, believe him...cause he's not going to lie.

Don't like this game very much, feels like dayz, rust and fortnite got together and this was the resulting baby, just not my cup-o-tea.
Um there's a well in the first village you spawn by also. But you also need to level your tech up. You need the requirements in your bag to learn the recipe. Then when your making things at the bench and forge you need to be at the bench when it's done processing to level up. They did just shorten the time it takes to make things so hopefully it's better
"I know what you are thinking, 'kage just get rid of the food'" -- No, that's not what I'm thinking. I'm thinking "kage, leave the ammo alone and come back for it IF and WHEN you need it!" Honestly, I think this game breaks you when it comes to looting. You are just wasting time: you loot place after place without even having space to carry the stuff you find. That battery early game? Picking it up was insane! In this game you have to loot with a goal instead of just looting for the sake of it. I do have one question, though: can you make drop chests? It would make sense to me to loot a place and move everything useful either to a drop chest or to the containers by the door to make coming back for it easier.

This game is exactly like the original H1Z1 but like an updated version. The graphics, the look, the systems and even some of the controls. I can't remember who made that game but this is very similar. There is obviously also many different elements from other games as well so really it is an amalgam of alot of different survival games. That is probably why so many people say that it is like this game or that game. I would still say that it is most like h1z1, which was a great game before it was basically destroyed.
Text in fire menu is Chinese for “cook” or “cooking” or “culinary” being a Chinese word one word has lots of meanings but in this case I’d assume English translation would be for cook…Google Translate on phone with camera and auto detect was what I did 🤣
Would love to see this turn into a full blown series, makes me wish I had a PC. Load your guns with ammo when looting if possible, that way if you have to leave any behind you at least have loaded guns
An interesting point with a spear is that two ways to use one is to set it, that is planting the butt of the spear in the ground to allow somethign to impale itself on the spear with teh ground takign the impact. The second is to spear fom above down into a body. This allows less chance for the butt of the spear to get caught on the ground while pulling it out of the target.
There is two other options on the well beside the "drag into container for water". At 36:42 you can see "Drink Water: and the other "Cleaning". I would guess that means you can wash at the well directly.

This game makes me think of the mist survival on real 5 gen! Such a awesome game! Stream named floppy sword did a live stream of this game really amazing game and the build is top notch
This game looks awesome, I mean if they can add some elements like a horde night like 7d2d it would be great. I mean it will even get out of early access before 7d2d does as well! Haha.

Worth noting that you only get crafting levels when in the crafting bench. If you leave it crafting and walk away it won’t give you Exp in that skill.
they need to do what minecraft does and make a small exp buffer so you can get it when you come back.
The thing that bugs me about these game is you need to find lil water bottles but you can just pick up the 5 gallon bottle
Should be an option to collect rain to drink. Looks cool reminds me of mist survival but third person.
Yeah I’m waiting for the Unreal 5 update on Mist Survival. I also hope it gets a big update as I’ve cleared out most of the areas
So it's a sad ripoff of The Infected but somehow with an even worse UI? Why are people playing this? Why have developers been putting zero effort into more unique and immersive UIs? I wanna see some Green Hell or The Forest style inventories, no more semi-opaque squares that hold a picture of an item... No more simple words, "Loot", and progress bars for looting. This kind of game takes zero effort and creativity to create...
Waiting for it to finish downloading now...figured I'd get a head start and see what was in store for me...

Kage: That is Chinese language text. It loosely means cook/boil or sterilize.
Glad you made this second video, this piqued my interest. I ended up getting the game. Looks like it has / will have multiplayer and I'm interested in how that will work.

If you go to the plane crash in the first area near trader there’s a military bag it’s huge
Should be what all new players do as starting backpack is very small.
The well had a cleaning option, no need for the bottle.
Did anyone notice the features tab in character creation then clicking random adds and decreases skills? is this currently active? Also you can rotate items in inventory with R.

These are tips for new players rather than more experienced ones.
When your pack is getting full, empty the contents into another container and spend a minute rearranging the contents. You will most certainly find a way to create more space.
Also, no need to carry two spears, just one as it is really easy to fashion one and that space can carry a shotgun, etc. The same goes for stone axes and knives. Build them when you need them, this frees up space for handguns and other weapons you can find.
Never carry things you do not need to. You can store items in car boots/trunks and come back after looting.
Backpacks can be stored in carts, boxes, and fridges. It's a bit of a pain to learn, ( a lot of picking up/dropping but it can increase the amount of storage by up to 8x, with certain bags,) but very useful.
Kage plays a game with building aspects, 30 episodes later we are touring a fortified mansion that makes me think of the Winchester manor.
Kage is in his own personal hell....

how do you start without the stupid rediculous starter set? Steel spear, Steel Axe, Backpack, Knife, and tons of meds? Because I always start with that stuff.
How did I pick up an infection just walking around in the middle of the day. Died in about 2 mins from nothing at all.. All my stats were 90 or above....RAGE QUIT!.

Sorry, can't put water in pot without putting it in a water bottle first basically tells me right away all i need to know.
8 different stat bars, a UI that comes straight from the editor.. Is it supposed to be deep and engaging? Yet can't fill a pot. And zombies. Always with the zombies.

Lots of bugs, no possibility to change the weapon keys in the French version and so on... this game is not finished yet to play it, and moreover it dates from August 2022, despite a release on January 14, 2023.
I noticed in the first video that when you craft something it shows you nearby items. So I'm thinking you can craft with items nearby(on the ground) like in Stranded Deep. So they don't all need to be in your inventory.
I have never found a game that compares to Scum and Dayz inventory systems and pvp, pve magnificence as well as the polished weapon. Honestly I wish I could find one but so far I haven't been able to...
my question is... why did you take the pot when you said you can't make the rain catcher right away??? i would've left the pot behind for all the ammo....
OK this is going to make me a asshat here, however you did say you need to work on the survival part of the game. Now that means SLOW DOWN pay attention to what you are doing and take the time to read that the game is telling you. My point to this was the pot and your water, you say you need a rain catch all the while you have a bottle in your invin and the lake. Im sure by now you have figured it out. You are not the only one doing this and ALOT of games but to us that take the time in the game. It can get to be to much, SOME are not watching you just to see how many times you die. I understand that you get paid the more you shove down our throats. If you want to really play the games please dont say your going to take your time and play the game and then rush it. And if your are thinkng "well he is not sub'ed to me, so screw him" I would like to let you know I was at one time, but I couldnt take it anymore.I am glad to see your sub's are up now, I joined back when you had in the 60,000's
Hello ,This game looks exactly like - Dead District -Buildings, map, etc...
You say you unlocked the wrong door, but you had to unlock the door you did to get to the other door, If you didnt gain access to that one room then you could still not of used the unlock tool to get to the other door. So dont be annoyed as you did the right thing, But also food seems so easy to get so you should prioritise maybe ammo etc as food you can easily find from the looks of it
The text you were hovering over at roughly the 30-minute mark is Chinese. It just says 'Cooking'. :)
The word says "Cooking" according to my Pixel 6's autotranslate feature.

Just got the game today. Immediately start dieing from lack of carbs. Where do I get carbs besides mushroom tea and the random food spawns you loot? Mushrooms are to scarce

This game needs a ton of work to say the least, and even then I still think it won't be up to par with the already available games that have the same shit. I noticed most games that have been played on this channel lately are either a carbon copy of another game or a game that copies other games in general, but not nearly as good... This nothing towards Kage as this is his thing to try all types of survival and other games, and I don't knock that, because he is a great content creator! I guess I am just waiting to see something new and so good that it will leave me speechless...

You frustrate me! Whenever I watch you play these types of games you don't seem to look at the screen enough and miss SOO many of the screen prompts

This game shows potential, but it also shows its super early access. Also I'm pretty sure the dev is chineese because some of the translations are very rough

The movement of the character and much of the crafting ideas/resources makes me think this may have had some input from members of the team that made myth of empires. It died a death due to copyright issues but I had a great time while it was viable.
Hopefully I'm right and this is a spin off. (I don't care about the ins and outs of the history of these people BTW. If its entertaining.... that's enough to me)
