Thanks for the starting speedrun...you're obviously aware that most of us have seen the basics already. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the game's story progresses!
I'll watch it very carefully... There are a lot of things that have changed since I watched your old videos. There are things that need to be fixed... For example: If your backpack is full and you go to get another item, it shows that you've picked it up, but it doesn't appear in your backpack... I picked up 2 seagull meats with my backpack full and when I went to check, they weren't there because there wasn't enough space. I went back to the traps and the meats weren't there either, because the game "understood" that I'd picked them up... There's still a lot of things to fix. I managed to push the plane to the beach with the raft. All the insects I catch, including wasps, I eat... Food increases. It's been fun playing this. Like! Hugs!
stuff you pick up when bag is full can be recovered by using one of thoose droppstorage thingys.... funny is this can be missused since you can have basicaly infinit backpack....
Can do second floor! Stairs have multiple flights. Probably do want drop storage now… there’s hidden artifacts now; shield, amulet necklace, harp, and other stuff like the snake bracelet that deals with the story line of the game. Post it notes are bigger now, more blueprints in obscure places, three Wilsons have been located, an island where your plane ends up that’s like a lagoon of islands. That island is visible as a wavy tree from your current island that is a single tree canopy above the water. Swimming down there’s a full car beneath it and some other remnants. Totally crazy but must have some significance. This game has just evolved into some kind of awesome! I’m not a gamer, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching about ten of you guys (channels) regularly figuring out this game. Btw… shark spawns have increased dramatically. Don’t be surprised to see three at a time. Especially when you dive into game story line locations; finding one of the Wilson’s (single big lagoon island), submarine area, lagoons island (where your plane beaches now), etc. it’s just been super fun watching you guys develop and promote this game. It’s definitely something the developers have enjoyed as well; a lot of the early access players have driven the updates for this game-- including the price point! Which was polled by one of the testers. Remarkable how you all have helped build this game! I’ll keep watching, all the channels as I’m hooked even just as a spectator! Thanks Kage!
Every once in a while I don’t get the notification you uploaded, but love your videos and I try to watch whenever I can, can’t wait for more of this adventure
When you talked about the time issue I noticed it is moving forward but not quickly. Towards the end of the video I put a stop watch on between 8:55 and 8:56. It came back as approximately 85 second.
Hornets (and other creatures you decide not to eat) can be used to make compost in the compost bin. I'm glad collector water won't go stagnant now. What about water collected in coconut halves and your water bottle? The komodo is indeed easier to kill than the jaguar because of the komodo's slowness. You can run backwards while stabbing it with the spear (no jumping necessary), or you can hop up on a beach rock that it can't climb and stab at it from there. 😉 I have used the bug net. It's use is for killing flying insects like hornets, wasps and butterflies, without having to use up the durability of your weapons. They can then be eaten or composted. For the record, it's perfectly fine with me if time doesn't move or advance, as long as it's fixed on *Daytime* and *not* nighttime. Cold as a "new" condition? I think you were just getting lucky before. My initial play of the game -- seems like an age ago -- had me getting cold and being told to warm up. I've seen one player begin a foundation bridge to connect the islands. I didn't see the conclusion of this undertaking, but I heard one person (was it you?) say you can't build all the way across the water. So I'm wondering, if you can't build a foundation bridge, what about a raft bridge? I mean just make raft extensions, one right after the other, to similarly connect the islands. 🤔
You know irl komodo poisen is always deadly as it just decomposes your flesh. They also hunt by just bitting their prey once and then following them until they collapse
Wow, a lot of work for one video but it would not be a Kage 848 video going big but like what you did with the place one question do any of the trees grow back should be the long sticks trees should grow back. In real life, some weeds grow into small trees . Well, if not just asking, I'll be watching for the next video. Great job .
Komodo dragon is easy - just walk backwards and hit it with the spear. You can walk backwards faster than he can run. A few hits and he will turn to run and he's easy from there
you could always place the ghost water collector inside gather all the materials and save the game on a seperate file and wait for the rain before you build it and if it doesnt collect water inside you could reload your save.
Sadly on my first go, I built down where you first came ashore, figuring I'd be okay for a bit. But the komodo dragon came at me from the jungle when I was looking for him to come along the beach. Oh well. (I didn't take the ginger and eventually the poison killed me.) I'll see what I can do next go.
Kage goes big to have a home. A man after my own heart. I just hope he doesn't have to restart again. I didn't get why people are so high on this game. Sure, it has a lot of potential and the devs seem to be very responsive. However, there isn't really a huge amount of interesting gameplay and there is a TON of jank. I'm not trying to knock the game because all games are rough at first. However, I do worry that the devs think this game is a lot further along than the alpha that it feels like it is. I hope they continue to add to the game and fix the jank as this could be a fun game.
Hahah omg speaking about a base this is a freaking mansion bro very nice though go big or dont get stranded they say 😂😂 keep up the nice episodes like em a lot ✌🏻😁
Kage I think you are wasting materials in raft. You should use barrel or tires raft base in the middle, then log raft base on both sides and then barrel or tires raft base again on the both side it will save you at least 4 barrel or tires
Easiest way to kill the Komodo Dragon is to walk backwards keeping him at spear length away and just poke him in the eye about 10 times. No need to jump, no need for the bow, no need to run in the water since you're faster than him.
4:15 “kill the Komodo dragon with a spear” I first spawn in and get attack by the hornet then by the Komodo dragon before grabbing my first coconut 😂 so I kill them both with the hatchet
I just bought it last night and I couldn't figure out how to craft the tool belt for the extra two slots. Did they remove it or is it not available until you find a blueprint?
@@dmitriykoltunov4261 Thanks, I got to that island last night and found 5 blueprints. I don't think one of them was the tool belt though. But that damn cat keeps killing me, lol. I'll try again tonight

The biggest issue : Rafts and raft bases..... The game is unplayable for the moment except if you like to spend 20€ just to build a house/base for fun. If you try to build a raft and craft on the raft some items like a bed or a water collector etc your raft will transform to a space ship.
