It looks like the break is where it transitions from cast iron to pvc. A partial recipe may be recommended. You and your husband do good work
Thank you the pipe is all PVC no cast. Looks like it broke at the foundation wall right outside. Yes they need to dig it to fix the problem outside. (Shelly)

Everyone that buys a home should have there sewer inspected. Been saying it for year's. But the realtors dont lilke it. Should be part of a home inspection. Have a good day.
Digging it up in the freezing cold. Not a pleasant thought, but it something that has to be done quickly. Why can't these happen in more Pleasant weather.
We gave them a price for winter repair and one for spring time.
