The best thing you can do to any entry level guitar is replace the strings with a good quality set, lube the nut then fix the intonation. After that, play it until your drunk friend steps on it. Buy another and repeat.

The top of the head stock is identical to the old "lawsuit les Paul " by Ibanez from the late 70's

Buy theses now while you still can. I wouldn’t be caught dead playing on stage with anything else but a Firefly. These are some of the best guitars, and most inexpensive guitars made today. Please DO NOT confuse inexpensive with “cheap”. In 50 years these beauties will be rare and sought after and go for around $50-$100,000. Most will treat them like pure garbage because they think it must just be a “cheap” throw around guitar that they will eventually smash, and destroy at the end of a good performance, which will help contribute to their rarity. Mark my word and you will thank me in around 50 years. These are definitely heirloom guitars that your family will be able to hand down for generations. Buy about 20 of them now, while you can still get them on the “cheap”, and keep them in a properly air conditioned area of your home or storage facility. Like I said, these fine instruments are all I play and wouldn’t be caught dead on stage without one of these in my hands.

$200 Firefly packed like it was a $2000 guitar.
$2000 EVH Frankie replica packed like a $200 POS.

Great review and I'll be buying a firefly as soon as I can catch one in stock. Another killer LP style which is currently on Amazon with free prime shipping is the IYV although it's often mistaken for ivy , only one color flamed green but sells for 178

Just a few things to clear up on this guitar.. It DOES have a BONE nut on it, according to their website. I copied and will paste several items here so people don't think it is plywood and has a plastic nut Here is what their website has to say :
    Mahogany Guitar body and Neck
    AAA+quality Rosewood Fretboard
    Top quality Maple top
    Nickel strings and bone nut

I bought a FFLP BK E. I own an Epiphone LP Custom. They look like they are made by the same company. The differences being the headstock design, better hardware and a better buff out on the finish of the Epiphone.

Sometimes when it says "Made In China" they are made somewhere in Asia, but are imported through China, not actually made there.

This is good if you want to slowly replace parts with quality even a guitar like this will play and sound good when clean settings are applied. That other Dude doesn't need to go on a sales rant all the time and you can hear Dane rein him in when he does . (yes he does sound knowledgeable. Just saying not hating) Then again you would be battling to stay as chill as Dane

Guys enjoyed the video. These guitars can not be beat for the price. I have this model, the FFTH and the FF338. They are outstanding compared to what you would pay for Asian models 30+ years ago. By the way, the nuts are bone.

Not bad at all for $200 big ones. Fit and finish looks great, and the sound is decent. Sound Garden has already sold out of these LP copies. Also, I have to agree with Y'all that made in China is no longer what it use to be back in the day "Junk." China is actually building some nice guitars here lately at a great price point. Thanks for posting!!!

Those frets did look like stainless steel . They didn’t even try a magnet or sand paper test. I think this review was really bad. It was like amateurs guess work just saying things that are commonly known about les Paul’s. Not a firefly fan but that guitar hardware was way above any epiphone and could hang with top dollar Gibson

Dude, times being what they are lately and without connections??? A freakin' under $200 dollar guitar, for the mental health would be f*cking killer! A real opinion is truly appreciated. I'd like one that needs a touch of work, but not a Glarry or under. YOU FREAKING ROCK!

I'd if ur gonna replace all the parts anyway for 200 bux buy a fender bullet or /epiphone sg/Les Paul entry level and change the parts you still gonna soend 1-20/300 spending on what parts you use so just my a 200 dollar used guitar and replace the shit that dosnt work if I want a project then get ready for a head ache but a used guitar and tack it to a guitar tech and let it get get fixed correctly I wouldn't trust anything from China in thay price range thay has all those parts unless it's a billet for a project or parts that are solid

Let's face it: The best alternative to a guitar like this one is to haunt pawn shops for prizes that look, sound and perform like this guitar. Good luck with that! You want a brand new guitar with these specs, this may be the best way to go -- if you can actually go this way. Guitars Garden has NOTHING on site today! Maybe Amazon ... 😎❤️️🎸‼️

Amazon doesn't sell them. They usually post the guitars on Sundays/Mondays in the early morning. People buy them out and then try to resell them for 300-400 on Reverb and eBay.
