Konami needs to unban dragoon if DPE can be legal then so can dragoon. I miss the two card dragoon.
I can see Konami giving us dragoon when they do the Red Eyes update since that’s the only monster in the big 3 that they haven’t done anything with yet.

Honestly as much as i would love dragoon i feel like in a format like md with maxx c and best of 1 it would be a lil too toxic. It got banned in ocg for a reason they just made decks that turbo into dragoon while sitting on 4 handtraps, also keep in mind that using ref into dragoon plays around maxx c as they will only trade 1 for 1. Like do we really want to play against dragoon in master duel? Probably a good thing its been banned since the start

They already hit the problem card with dpe, celestial, no longer a free pot of greed. DPE is still good don't get me wrong but he either really helps you on the duel or it gets called by first turn. If this happened to the old dpe package you still have celestial in the grave to give you more resources

I was able to summon black luster soldier of chaos, quintet magician, and ebon illusion magician, props to my opponent for sticking around.

You know what combo I've being seen more? The Combi combo. NS Road and search Soul Servant > SS Soul's sending DM to GY > LS Verte > Copy Fusion Deployment's effect and SS DMG > Stack Magicians' Combination with Soul Servant > Draw Magicians' Combination and an extra card by banishing Soul Servant.
You ended up with a once per turn omni-negate and an extra card, you should have 3 more cards in hand that we haven't use.
First person I saw doing this was zHoly months ago, but now I'm seeing it more.
Cool combo.
that's pretty sick tbh and requires less main deck bricks.

@@LOZA-DM absolutely. If we are comparing 2 card combos I think DPE is first or maybe tied with AFD combo. It depends on what you think the opponent is playing or what are the other cards in your hand.
Another reason why dpe (and dragoon) are good in this deck is that you can always shuffle back 1 of the bricks with ioc so its not gonna be often that youll have to fuse with material from hand

In that second play where you summoned master of Chaos, you could have summoned TDM, played the soul servant to stack Eternal, draw,set, and activate it to bring back DM. Another OTK route.

I stated many times, the rest of the hand was not part of the example.
These hands have 5-6 cards in them and can do probs 10 different things, but I wanted to teach people the small combos for when they just open Rod + Souls and bricks/handtraps.
"I could go into Dark Cavalry for game." I never thought I'd hear that lmao. I used to use Super Poly to get rid of DPE for Cavalry. We need DM fusions generic enough to make great super poly targets.

You can use Anaconda to go into Branded Fusion stuff instead of DPE if you hate DPE :)
Really nice to see these combos again for master duel this time. Although the amount of times people going second open with ash, imperm, or feather duster has been insane. And if they're going first, then their board is full of negates with sprights, branded despia, or some other omni negate board. As much as I want to make my plays, they're always interrupted and I'm sitting there crying. I've been going back and forth in gold 1-3 and can't really get anywhere. As much as I have enjoyed having these new support cards, DM is sadly too weak in comparison to the meta
I’m feel you. A year ago it was decent and it could get you to Platinum. Nowadays the meta is too strong…

It's all about mastering your craft brother, me I reached the plat with my Blue Eyes Deck, and i don't care about the meta as long as i enjoy it, it's perfect.. Just enjoy, learn your mistakes, and keep improving your plays ,you will achieve your goals..

Was playing branded DM until we got the IoC but now DPE package seems much more impactful since the deck is wayyy more consistent. Branded DM just leaves you with no cards in hand lol

Illusion of Chaos is great but with Preparation of Rites we only need 2 most of the time (with 2-3 Rites)

Nice video! Incidentally, the combo at 6:45 where you pop TDM with dpe for more damage, I believe you actually COULD have gone for game just with what you had, no need for rod into cavalry: if you attack first with TDM into attk position monster, then use dpe to pop tdm and the def position monster, you now how direct attacks with dpe, dm, and dmg for 7000, although granted your opponent was already down to 7400 when it started so whatevs. Again, awesome combos!
yes, once again, I was just showing the interaction between DPE and TDM. Wasn't trying to use any other cards in hand.

what is your opinion on playing a small branded package opposed to playing the small dpe package? I feel like branded allows you for less bricks and allows you to put dm in the grave for free, though DpE is freaky strong.
Branded gets you to Dragon Knight very easily, you also have access to Mirrorjade but you miss out on the recursion of DPE and the combo with Dark Magicians. It's also annoying when you've already done your Mirrorjade/Dragon Knight play and then end up drawing a dead Branded Fusion/Aluber whereas you don't have that risk with DPE. They're both viable, but i feel like you can brick slightly more often with Branded.
I prefer DPE right now but I have dabbled in Branded builds in the past.

In the TCG Sauravis was seeing play as a second prep target to protect andaconda from veilers and impems. In Mastert Duel, do you think this card is still needed, or can be/should be cut due to deck space being an issue since maxx C and upstart take up 5 more slots than normal
