as a guy who paid his way through college cutting, splitting and delivering firewood I am impressed with this equipment. Falling trees in and around homes takes great skill and nerves of steel. Thanks for sharing.
It was a real pleasure meeting you guys as well, thank you so much for stopping by on your return to Texas. By the way, this Fridays post has you guys in it so bee sure to watch and let me know what you think. Hopefully, our paths will cross again. God's peace always. Mr. Ed
Pretty impressive that the truck could handle that 10 foot or so trunk top. Probably close to a ton that far out on the boom is a lot of leverage. The base itself looked 36" or more across. Hope it got turned into lumber and not sawdust.
Cutting trees in residential neighborhoods -- especially near power lines -- is dangerous. In my area, a tree service was removing branches near a house. The young guy's chain saw hit the power lines to the house; he was killed.
This type of machinery does take a lot of the dangers out of the job, but anytime there is heavy machinery and chain saws, it's dangerous. God's peace Kevin. Mr. Ed
That was pretty cool to watch! I never knew such things existed. We had to get a huge dead tree removed from the sidewalk in front of our house about 10 years ago. Big branches (limbs?) were starting to lean on the lines above and one had fallen into the street due to it being dead for a very long time. I thought those were the city's responsibility but nope, not here anyway! It was fascinating to watch it come down, but utterly nerve wracking to watch the guy climbing this dead tree and it supporting all of his weight when it had already been literally falling apart. No bees inside it, lucky for him. As nice as most bees are, I don't think they would have liked their home being attacked by a man with a chainsaw 😂
What that claw grabs, it's going down. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 500 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video almost every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Rebecca. Mr. Ed
At least by using a robotic arm the Forrester does not have to worry about being in a bucket and finding a behive cutting a tree. Good to have a bee keeper around when you need him! I'm sure at the end they used a Whispaaaaaaa, ChipppppAAAAA!
I can't honestly say that the feral bees I rescue are more hardy than ones that you can buy, but, I do not treat our bees and my annual losses are way below the national averages when it comes to dead outs. Also, they sure produce a lot of honey for me as well. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 500 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video almost every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Nick. Mr. Ed
Any holes in the pavement? It looked like they dumped it right on an asphalt road. My last words to my last tree guy: Just don't drop it on the driveway. And then I went to Home Depot and bought 9 bags of asphalt cold patch.
Thanks so much, I'm very happy to hear that. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 500 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video almost every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Janice. Mr. Ed
I did the math, in less than 8 months, the truck would have paid for itself. What an awesome piece of machinery. By the way, I post a new video almost every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace. Mr. Ed
So Mr. Ed, when are you going to get one of those to lower down bee swarms? Just cut the limb and get it down to ground level so you do not have to climb. Easy peasey, just need some cash though. lol
A. I have seen operations like this with 3 machines clearing an area for lumber mills. B. Is a Question: The power lines were an issue. Is that why a healthy tree is taken down? Otherwise, my least favorite Jeff Horchoff video ever. Sorry, no thumbs up today. Just kidding about the thumbs up part. From a different perspective. Thanks for showing us what is going on in your neck of the woods. Looking forward to seeing the finished house in the future.
Those guys sure are busy bees. I hate to see healthy trees cut down like that. Doing some quick math, they would have to do a couple hundred trees or more to make it profitable.
This isn't the worst kind of tree cutting. It is only the one tree. What I really hate is the clearing of land for constructing new urban strip. Malls, shops, parking lots. All of that gross boxy stuff.
I did the same, and I calculated that in 200 days the truck would have paid for itself. But then, there is maintenance, labor, insurance.....Not a business I'd want to be in. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed

And I bet you are glad those days are behind you now. Safe travels brother, God's peace.
Mr. Ed
and a big bond or insurance for that bad work day
That is an amazing machine! Its incredible how far up it can reach! The amount of force on such a large lever arm would be immense.
I need one of these machines to catch my swarms with. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Thanks for posting, awesome video, I like it ,keep them coming. Good to meet you. Matt and Merla from Texas.

Only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys. Way cool👍
That’s an awesome truck. They were out here at the university a while back and it is quite the sight!
Next time you have a swarm 60 feet in the air, let me know. I'm sure I can have them bring you the truck. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
When you hope your hydraulics don't fail! Despite all the advances, it still takes that human touch to finish the job. Pretty neat.
Mr Ed, That's unBEElievable !! Wow ! 🐝🐝🐝
I can't believe you had them take that whole tree down just to see if there was a bee hive inside it.
A man's got to try hard to defeat the Dirt Rooster
The real reason I asked for the tree to be removed was it was blocking my view when I looked out my window. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
You sure like that slow mode n the middle 😂. Great job filming

Good show. Thanks for sharing.
No comb, no bees and no Queen! Thank you Jesus that nobody got hurt in the production of this video!
Wow, that's a nice BIG log! Amazing piece of equipment. So much safer than putting a man up there.
Where are the bees?
I gave them a break this week. Not to worry, tomorrow's video won't disappoint you. Thanks for watching. God's peace Michael.
Mr. Ed
That was AMAZING! Thanks for sharing. 🙏😄
You need one like that!!!! Thanks Mr. Ed!!
Well that worked pretty slick. Keep smilin
Now THAT is an intense claw game! lol
What that claw grabs, it's going down. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 500 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. Mr. Ed
Thank you Jesus that everyone was safe. I love watching tree work.
That is impressive. I watched tree companies harvest lumber but never like that.
At least by using a robotic arm the Forrester does not have to worry about being in a bucket and finding a behive cutting a tree. Good to have a bee keeper around when you need him!
I'm sure at the end they used a Whispaaaaaaa, ChipppppAAAAA!
That’s the way to remove a big tree. I’ll bet they see some swarms. Thanks for the video. God bless.
Do you find these local catches to be more Hardy?

Mr. Ed
You need to hook up with a vsh breeder and explore this. You may be doing more of the lords work than you know. Save the bees lmao
A nice piece of equipment - can you get Ralph one?. A nice change. but I don't get it.. I heard a lot of buzzin' but didn't see no bees! 😂
Ralph told me if I got him one of these he'd bee on every removal. I'm seriously thinking about it. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Any holes in the pavement? It looked like they dumped it right on an asphalt road. My last words to my last tree guy: Just don't drop it on the driveway. And then I went to Home Depot and bought 9 bags of asphalt cold patch.
Part of the trunk was used to absorb the impact, so the street was perfectly fine. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
That is so cool!
Thats crazy awesome...definitely m kind of tree trimming! I hate heights...Randy would love this for swarms....
I get nervous about heights too, but only when other people are standing next to them. I don't mind stepping up to the edge myself.
This is the second time that I've seen a three that size come down!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoyed the video
Thanks so much, I'm very happy to hear that. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 500 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. Mr. Ed
and no trumpet🤗 and it came tumbling down
"well guys, it ain't there no more" Right Jeff ?
Wouldn't have to worry about a swarm at 60' up if you had one of those babies! ;)
Ain't that the truth. Send up the claw, cut the branch off, and bring it down all in about 2 minutes. Thanks for watching. God's peace Thea.
Mr. Ed
Studio tree productions?
Love the comment, God's peace Howard.
Mr. Ed
It will definitely pay for itself rather quickly too.

Tree removal, a lot of buzzing. Bee removal, a lot of buzzing. The big difference is that the tree didn't move up to the Abby.
We have enough trees already, but we can always use a few more bees. Thanks for watching. God's peace Bryant.
Mr. Ed
So Mr. Ed, when are you going to get one of those to lower down bee swarms? Just cut the limb and get it down to ground level so you do not have to climb. Easy peasey, just need some cash though. lol
Can you imagine a boom like that with a giant bee vac on the end?
Pretty awesome!

Can't say why the tree was removed, but I do know it was damaged in a storm. Next week, back to bees. God's peace Bran.
Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff Thanks Professor for answering me. Your humility shows your faith. Stroong in the Brethren.

You and me both Ben. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Well that was definitely something different
silly you....remove BEES not TREES...
Tomorrow's video is back to the usual, get ready. God's peace Rusty.
Mr. Ed
many one day, not now, but one day, will be not needed for many jobs in the future
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
That’s not a good bee video
Agreed, but that machine was just to cool not to make a video on. Thanks for watching. God's peace Dean.
