Just a few days ago I was remembering your regular videos, and I miss them. I think yours was the first channel that introduced me to home sawmilling, then came the chickens, pigs, bees, house renovation and all the rest. Glad to know that you're still around.
Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful outcome ❤😊
Gorgeous restoration.
Look it's time to get with the times !!! Now move on !!!
Glad you restored the table and chairs to their natural beauty. Most of the self proclaimed experts would have painted it. Just needed a cleaning and some care. A lot of good meals were had around that table.
For anyone who's made a single chair, you know it was worth restoring them for the amount of hard work that went in to building it.
Beautiful job!!
It’s nice to see someone that appreciates older wood furniture and is willing to restore its former grandeur. You did a really nice job on it and it looks awesome. Your little boy sure is growing and I hope his personality never changes. Take care of yourself.
You were definitely blessed to find this on the side of the road. I can’t believe anyone would let that go, I sure wouldn’t. 🤗
It was a huge blessing.
This is a dinning room set that was mass marketed in the late 90's-00's. I attend estate auctions and would see this specific style quite often. The table always seems quite sturdy, but the chairs always seemed a little more flimsy or shoddily assembled. Glad you could breath some life back into it. Loved the result of the restore-a-finish without having to sand/stain multiple layers.
I have this set 😮😮 bought it in 1994 😅😅
Any ideas on the estimated price or worth
Sweet child! He loves his daddy! Beautiful job so pretty! Thanks for sharing!
This was great to see this table and chairs restored.
No matter where it came from.
1 thing for sure.
With every stroke you did and every piece of rubbish removed, you increased the value of this table and chairs
Good to see you back Wes. Solid oak table and chairs are a blessings. All they needed was some TLC. What you are doing spiritually is the same thing. Restoring men and women to their original design and beauty. Life can wear people down until they also are neglected and rejected. Praise God for restorations.
Good to see you, we've missed your videos. We do appreciate your commitment to our Lord and pray your school is going well.
God bless
You did a beautiful job on bringing these pieces back to life. What a gift you have! I love old wood pieces like these. Be well.
lol... it isn't that old. This was the style from early 1990s. I bought a set. Tons of people had these.
My kitchen table is an oak claw foot, round, with a leaf to make it oval. I bought it new about 50 years ago and it still looks great. It's heavy and sturdy. No matter how many times the styles changed, I couldn't part with it. They just don't make them like it anymore. You came across a nice find to restore.
so glad to see you back on. Really missed watching you and your littles.
Wow! You scored a beautiful set there! Amazing what people throw away. Great job.
Great to hear from you again Wes and your number one helper.
Great to see you and your little helper back on here with another video. I always enjoy watching your videos and am looking forward to your next one and good find on the kitchen table
Thanks for sharing your videos with us
God bless
I enjoyed watching your gentle and respectful restoration of a lovely antique. This is the way things should be done. I am so glad you got to it before someone changed its shape and put paint all over it. Thank you.
It's good to see you again while you're home taking a break from school, Wes!
Thank you for taking the time to include us. It's good to hear from you. That boy is growing up quickly. It's been hard to find good content, so I'm glad to get the occasional video from you.
So happy to be watching another video, I sure do miss your channel. Glad your home for a little while and made us a video to watch. TY! Love you guys ❤️! 😊
Great transformation! When people say we’ve progressed so far, it doesn’t mean we necessarily came to a better place. It makes me feel hopeful to see there are still people with real world skills, know-how and patience. A national treasure! Subscribed!
Wow, this transformation is incredible! The before and after are night and day. The attention to detail in restoring the dining room set is impressive. It’s amazing how something that looked like junk can be turned into such a beautiful piece. Definitely inspiring for anyone thinking of restoring furniture. Great job!
Great to see you again. Beautiful table. They dont make them like that anymore
I have that exact table and chairs. They do not make furniture like this anymore. My husband's Grandfather bought the table in 1890. The sets were made so you could purchase them separately once you saved enough to buy. We have the buffet and china cupboard, with the Lions heads and clawfeet. The are absolutely beautiful.
This set looked more like 1990? (my friend bought the same reproduction set.)
@lauramitchell6725 Really. The reproduction probably cost 10 times what my husband's Grandfather paid. We have the Autumn Leaf Dishes that were sold by the Jewel Tea Company. They are beautiful and we still use them.
yeah my parents have a similar table. Same legs and even gear system to expand the table to insert the leaf.
The only difference is that theirs have a little more decorative work on the bottom
Hey Wes, great to see a video. We missed you but will stick around for when you post videos. This video was great. Love the restoration videos! Thanks much for sharing.
I really love that you kept the natural wood! I also appreciate that there's no music and very little talking. The natural work sounds are relaxing.
Well look who’s here. Good to see you. I’ve just been sitting here waiting for you!
I tip my hat to you for this incredible Restoration of a beautiful dining table and dining chairs. Wow a wonderful piece of work by a talented artist and that is you.
You did an amazing job! Talk about encouraging, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen people throw stuff away and I didn’t have the confidence enough to think about trying to refinish it, but you definitely changed my mind about that. People don’t realize what they’re throwing away. kudos to you and God bless.
So good to see you post again Wes!!! Hope you and the family are doing good. God Bless in your new endeavor. Hope to see you post again in the future. A solid table and chairs like that would cost a good 4 figures today and NOT be as good a quality as that was and it only took a little time and elbow grease - good work!! And yes - Thumbs Up!
Good job.
These are the American antiques of tomorrow.
The table is pure craftmanship.
Greetings to your family.
Please tell your son, I did the thumbs up❤😊
YOUR BOY IS PRETTY PROUD OF HIS DADDY...PRETTY SLICK JOB CAP'N KIRK!!!
WOW... That table is monumental...
Thank you for uploading a video. This is a nice surprise.
Zippity doo dah, Fall Line Ridge 🙌💃🙌 This is such a treat & great surprise!! We miss y'all SO much! You did an amazing job on the table & chairs - the patience of Job - & your little boy is as adorable as ever!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us - can't wait for the next one. I pray all is going well with y'all. I'm proud you followed God's call, but we surely do miss y'all!! God bless y'all in all-ways!! ♥️🙏♥️ (This is DianneL - changed picture & name a little) 🥰
Thanks Dianne and thanks for stopping by!
You did a great job on the table and chairs. Thank you so much for filming it. We purchased a table with six chairs almost identical to your set 35 years ago from a local country store. It had a matching pie safe, too. The chairs need some serious repairs on them. The tabletop needs refinishing too. They are solid oak. It is almost impossible to find solid oak furniture now. It would not bore me if you filmed any chair repairs. I would appreciate it if you would.
Beautiful job Wes, amazing transformation! Good to see a new video! Literately 30 minuets ago I was just thinking "I wonder if Wes is going to upload any videos sometime soon", and then you had uploaded one. I did want to thank you for telling me what kind of boonie hat you wore, I now have one like it, and wear it when I cut down trees and do woodwork. Your Son has grown quite a bit! God bless you and your family!
Cool! That's a great hat. Glad you were able to find one. Thanks for stopping by!
Patience and skill! Owned a table and chairs just like that back in 80’s!
Great job restoring the table & chairs. They don't make furniture like that much anymore. I think Little Wes is a UA-cam star in the making. He sure has grown.
He's a camera hog for sure!
Lovely to see you back again, and hear your dulcet tones ! Hope life is treating you and yours really well !
Thanks for watching!
Glad to see you and your Buddy. Hope you have a wonderful visit. Take care and God bless
I came across this picture that said free and i just had to watch you did a wonderful job restoring her beauty.... That is one beautiful piece you found right there and for free you couldn't ask for anything better to restore, i love the feet on the table that piece is just gorgeous i love it great job. You have a new follower.
Wes, it is so good to see you again. Your son is as cute as ever, but we didn't get a "Thumbs Up" from him. Maybe next time. Hope all is well with you guys. What a great salvage of a fine table. Well done!
He did! It's just very late in the video. 26:23.
You brought the table and chairs back to life. I hate to see beautiful wood go to waste. Awesome job!
So happy for people like you, who can see the worth of well made REAL wood furniture, I will never understand how one lives to do so much damage to a set like this, it blows my mind!
Beautiful job, Wes! It is good to see you again. I hope all is going well for you and the family.
So glad to see you back on UA-cam
That table is a beauty. Glad you took it and restored it
Its nice to see you apreciate good quality and restore them. Great Job! Watching from Germany.

Sure do miss ya'll! Nice to see everyone.
Good to see you here! Hope you're doing well.
It's good to see you again, Wes. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos while you're home for a visit. I pray that you continue to follow God's leading, and if that includes making some videos, I am grateful for that.
t's good to see you back, and still working on projects around the homestead. Your son has grown up in the last year.
Thanks Wes for this video. We have missed you!
Good to see you hoping all the family are doing well and are healthy. I’m loving the chair
Excellent restoration. It is 99% the twin of the set my wife inherited. They just don't make them like they used to.
This table revels us a part of American history. Great furniture and honest job. Congratulations from Brazil.
So good to see you and your little guy. My wife was just asking me about you on the weekend and here you are! As usual your video was very good, love all the detail and hard work you put into the table for your family. God blesses in many ways, and now your family has a beautiful table! I’m already looking forward to your next video brother! Bless you and your family ❤️
Good seeing you again Wes. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful table and chairs. A little TLC made a huge difference. ❤it.
I bought that exact set from Art Van Furniture in Taylor, Michigan back in 2000, it cost me a little over $3,000.
My ex ended up selling it. It's a beautiful set when it was new. I'm glad to see this type of set being refurbished.
The set I had came with 2 of the center leaf expansions.
A lot of work, and well worth it, congratulations! Your son is so sweet, I can't believe it. Thank you so much :)
Sometimes that’s all you need is just a clean up a restore and re fresh ❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼✝️ God bless you and your family.
Wow! This is a special dining table! And the chairs especially are beautifully made! What a great find. Thank you for restoring it, filming the process and sharing it! That was beautiful to me to watch! Art is for the soul!
Looks like everyone’s conveying what I was thinking the moment I saw your download!
Your videos are like revisiting precious memories from our past bygone friends and family members comping by for long over due visits!
Bout the only way I can describe it!
I have a table and chairs just like this one. I bought it for my son years ago. It went thru a flood and is now waiting to be cleaned and renewed. I hope it turns it as well as the set you picked up and renewed. Looks great and just waiting for a family to use in their home. Blessing always.
I inherited a table and chairs that are almost identical to this set from my in-laws. The table is pretty solid, although mine only has a single leg in the center. The chairs are hit or miss, some have survived from the 80s or 90s when they were originally purchased, but we had to get rid of 2 when I inherited the set. The spindles were just too splintered to repair. I've had the set for about 5 years now and while it's not really my style, i have to say i love it. So many memories of dinners at my in-laws home and now we are making new memories in our home.
I miss seeing my husband restore furniture. He made, restored, and refinished furniture, especially antique furniture. One thing he did that I didn’t see you do was to put a good coat of wax on the table, especially the top of the table and the part of the chair you sit on. For the most part he would put wax on all of it. It helps to prolong the finish. But loved seeing you work on these pieces.
I love this video, and that handsome young man is tops in my book,,I've missed all of the family. Love ,and God Bless from Florida.
I have that exact table and chairs... It's been in my home for 40 years... I don't care how often styles come and go, this style is forever classical.
Great to see another of your videos, pray that seminary is going well. As always enjoy your vide, Blessings to you and your family.
Hello Wes. This was an excellent project. It was good to see you back. Have good days!
Thanks for stopping by! Glad you enjoyed it!
Super surprised to get notified you had uploaded a video! Glad to see you back even if momentarily.
What a surprise when I came across your new video. Glad to see you back on.
Good to see you back home. Hope everything went well at Seminary. I know God has big plans for you and your family.
It turned out so beautiful. I love to see old wooden Furniture being restored instead of discarded
Me too! It's nice to give it a second life.
My husband and I bought this exact table and chairs and it came with a leaf to go in the middle. And it only came with four chairs. But you could "pay extra" for the two end chairs with the arms. And we did so we had all six chairs. We bought it back in 2000. Since then we have a different table and chairs. I gave the other one to my cousin and she still has it to this day. Thank you for this video. I just found you. I think im gonna sub. to this channel. I enjoy watching folks bring back the beauty of old furniture.
Boy looks just like his Dad! Nice work. Love the styling of the chairs and that claw foot table is awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful Restoration. The Set was very well made. I’d keep it in the Family. Great Job. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I just happened upon your video. I was very impressed and I might say a little jealous about your find! You did a great job on the table and chairs. I don't know how old your table is but just saying I grew up with a claw foot table that 'looked' just like the one that belonged to my grandfathe. It made it's way to our family and it was our only table for years, Later it was refinished and was used for ' company only' as it was really special. When my parents passed the table went to my brother. I am now 80. Just saying I don't know if yours is a reproduction or not but it is beautiful. Be blessed. Tennessee girl.
Loved hearing from you. The little man is as charming as ever. The table and chairs look lovely. God bless you all. Praying Bible College/Seminary is going well. Miss you. ❤❤❤❤
Thanks, we miss our UA-cam people too. Appreciate you stopping by!
You did a fantastic job bring this old beauty back to life.
very chic furniture made of natural oak. thank you for not letting it die, people for the most part don't understand much
It's gorgeous! I love the carvings, so beautiful. I'm so glad you restored it.
Great to see you again. All the best to you and your family.
Love ❤️ the family addition!!
You did a great job!!
The craftsmanship on that table is incredible. Just about a lost art. Beautiful
Good to see you back…
I’m extremely glad you found this beautiful table and chairs. I own its sister table. Ha! I bought a table and chairs very similar to yours many years ago on clearance from a place in Montgomery Alabama called McClendon Furniture. I don’t think they’re even in business anymore. But I love the beautiful honey color wood. I was so scared you were going to fix and paint your table and chairs. I really get really angry to see beautiful wood painted. Again very thankful that the Lord provided you with such a beautiful table and chairs. Well done in restoring them.
LOVE me some good ole trashy furniture. Your restoration was soooo satisfying.
I love to see a real wood piece of furniture restored and put to good use.
Good to see you Wes … hope seminary school is going well. God bless you and yours brother … 😎!
What I admire the most besides your amazing talent is your patience! You have my utmost respect and admiration!
Absolutely beautiful table and chairs. A wonderful heirloom now for dinning with family will make it so ( heirloom). Table seems so sturdy as to last a lifetime. Thoroughly enjoyed ur restoration.
I miss seeing you around. I hope the families doing good.
Been praying for you while at Seminary! God has huge plans for you Brother!
Thank you!
Deus abençoe você seu trabalho e sua família ❤
Fantastic job. A beautiful dining room suite. Please do the other 2 chairs. You are a true artisan.
Great to see you back 😀
I used to own a set just like that. It was my parents and passed down to me. I lost it years ago and am grateful to be reminded.
I think that design was out in the late 80's maybe early 90's.
The table and chairs are amazing! Perfect for a growing family.
The table and chairs look nice after the restore. Your little guy is sweet. Thanks for sharing 😊
