    Don't apologize for not wearing makeup! You are gorgeous with and without it! If your skin is freaking out, you should maybe look into food allergies. I was getting really bad cystic acne the last couple months, I cut out dairy a couple weeks ago and my skin already looks so much better. It's crazy!

      I'm a huge proponent for diet and skincare having a direct correlation! I haven't eaten meat or dairy for over a year 😁 I struggle with some cystic acne in my cheeks from time to time (but it has gotten way better over the past year) I have endometriosis so i don't know if that is the reason I am breaking out, due to wacky hormones and such lol (its always the worst around that time of the month) ohh i didn't know ouai had a curly hair line I'll have to check it out!

    • @niatravers4846

      Hormones totally can be a huge contributing factor to cystic acne, I used to get AWFUL and I mean AWFUL cystic acne on my chin from a testosterone imbalance. They put me on a high estrogenic effect birth control and prescribed Differin and my skin is SUPER clear now. Not telling you what to do btw, you look beautiful either way.

    I think you put too much product in. I have skipped the mousse completely. The curl milk is more than enough for styling. The leave-in conditioner is also a great styling product on its own. It would be worth trying just the leave-in and curl milk.

    I love these first impression videos!! I needed travel sized shampoo and conditioner and decided to try the exact products. I personally, wasn't that impressed with the shampoo either. It didn't strip my hair, which was good, but I just wasn't crazy about the feel of my hair. I also didn't like how liquidy the conditioner was. It worked okay for what I needed it for but, I would not go out of my way to buy it again.

    Hi, I'm a new subbed! I loved this review! I recently bought the ogx argan oil of morocco conditioner and I used it as a styling cream on the 2nd day to refresh my curls and it gave me a lot of definition. Do you always diffuse your hair?

    • @DanaGagliotti
      @DanaGagliotti  7 років тому +1

      thank you!! Yes, I pretty much always diffuse. Mainly because I don't have time to air dry. If I do have some extra time I'll let it air dry and then finish it off with a diffuser for some added volume (I also feel like it helps make my curls more defined)

    I had question about your hair routine, do you completely rinse out all of your hair conditioner? And do you not wash your hair everyday? If so do you use any dry shampoo? Just want to try out what you do to your hair on mine because my curls are so dry 😭

    • @DanaGagliotti
      @DanaGagliotti  7 років тому

      Yes I completely rinse my conditioner out and I usually wash every 2 days. My scalp doesn't really get oily unless I were to go 4 days without washing so I don't really find the need for shampoo. When my hair was really dry (mostly from damage) I found the LOC method to be super helpful for locking in moisture :)

    Are these curly girl friendly?

    • @cassandracarranza2397
      @cassandracarranza2397 6 років тому +1

      Emily Mejia the conditioner has silicones 😕 so if you’re trying to be silicone free don’t use the coconut curls one, OGX has one line with silicone free, paraben free, and sulfate free so that line is the only line that’s curly girl friendly. I’m new to this but I’ve researched enough, and that’s what I know so far 🙂

    • @powerslash13wwe
      @powerslash13wwe 6 років тому

      Cassandra Carranza I just recently starting caring about my hair a lot so what does silicone free mean?

    • @cassandracarranza2397
      @cassandracarranza2397 6 років тому +1

      Power So there are silicones in most conditioners, and basically what the silicones do is they plaster over each strand of hair like plastic but they don’t allow moisture into the plaster and it suffocates your hair strands. The plaster is what makes you think your hair is really soft and smooth but that stuff isn’t good. If you read on the back of any conditioner and it says a big word ending with “cone” like demethicone, that is a silicone. Silicones just mess up our curl pattern as well as doesn’t let moisture in like I was talking about earlier which is not something a curly haired girl wants to hear since curls needs lots and lots of moisture.

    • @cassandracarranza2397
      @cassandracarranza2397 6 років тому +1

      Power personally I’ve started using Māui Moisture which is found at any target and it’s nice and not crazy expensive but the nice thing about Māui Moisture is that it gives so many natural products into your hair like coconut oil, macadamia nut oil, grape seed oil, and amazing more oils that your hair will really love. There’s also a side list on the side of the bottle that tells you everything that is not in the product and some of the things in the product that are really nice to your hair.
