keep in mind he has the perfect backstory for a villain but with the morality of a hero. this would either lead his morality to break or find his path as a anti-hero or anti-villain. either path would have made for a more interesting deku as he would still be quirkless but a fucking menace
I was looking for something about the series and in the “questions other people have asked” section there was a bunch of “why is Deku a villain” and such, so I was really worried he would turn bad like in some other animes, but it’s just that he looked like a villain during his vigilante part
Because of All Might, Bakugou and some others people he ended up like that. Bakugou and All Might i hope they feel guilty about it and fix what have they done
All Might was trying to keep him alive like how Aizawa expels people who he thinks wouldn't survive in the hero business. If they turned into villains, it wouldn't be their fault. Heck, All Might even worded it so that it didn't sound degrading. He was just trying to be real with Deku

Look at it from a different angle, if you were given the choice A) be responsible for a kid dying because you were scared of hurting his feelings B) be real with him and give him advice so that he wouldn't die C) be a dickhead like Katsuki and just push him off of the roof A dream is just wishful thinking if you don't have the power to do it. I actually prefer Akatani Mikumo. He's what Deku was supposed to be before he was Deku. They say Izuku never gave up on his dream, but he never did anything about his dream. He never trained himself. It was like he was expecting some miracle to drop on his lap. Akatani never got One For All and still got into UA. He trained and trained. He became Eraserhead 2.0 with Katsuki as Present Mic 2.0. I prefer that world. It's the world that you have to work for your dream instead of taking everything bad said to you, never giving up hope, but also never doing anything about it

Remember, no one is born a villain. Most villains had bad childhoods/pasts, and that trauma stuck with them their whole life. Even the original Izuku went through a lot of trauma for 10 years. And I personally think that if he really listened to Bakugou and the bullies, he would’ve given up his dream and probably become a villain.
this reminds me of a line in a comic dub I recently watched, which is pretty similar to this. the line goes: "my name is Izuku Midoriya and my quirk is survivor" you would have to watch the whole comic to really get the feels because I'm too lazy to write other important details but yeah I just wanted to tell how this reminds me

It might work for Bakugou's side of things, and it would have a nice parallel to this animatic with "Open up your eyes" being the first line of the chorus! It's completely up to you though!
