FREE?! It's $499 a month for unlimited use, which makes it by far the most expensive AI vid generator out there. It's free to do 30 generations a month. That can be useful for those hard to do shots you can't get Haiper, Pika or Runway to do, but the unlimited plan is for corporations or the rich only. This represents a trend where creative people who don't have access to large amounts of money are pushed out of the competition. I hope competition brings prices way down.
@timmychungus-di2rk Nah. Always best to put the best tools in the hands of the most creative people. You wouldn't have wanted Michelangelo to not have access to quality marble would you?

At least Showrunner is trying to support story telling. The current methods with most AI video is to generate a bunch of crazy video and then try to piece a story together from whatever random footage you have, like what Shy Kids had to do for the Balloonhead guy "film".

I use Luma. It still only generates 5 second videos and the consistency of the images leaves a lot to be desired. But this time, 3 yrs ago, we couldn't do any of this. So next year, I'm sure things will be very different!
I've made 10 video with it so far. But there is no consistency between them, even when using the same start image. And the more you use it the longer your generation times get. I had to wait an hour for my last 3. So chances of getting enough consistent footage to make even a commercial of 15-20 seconds length, let alone a music video, or a TV show length episode is out of the question at this stage. It makes nice 5 second clips it's hardly a useful tool. I put the gigachad meme image into luma and made him dance though

Unfortunately these tools are always in hot demand so it's very common to have a waitlist. Also, in order for these companies to survive they typically roll out a free model. So long as you are okay with the wait, you can continue to use the free version(s)!
These models are still massive, and consumer-grade hardware can't even run them unless you have a $20-30k machine to run them on. @@Steger13 i think it will be inside two
Telling stories will require a lot more work!
Thanks for sharing, Amazing. Here's a couple of AI Music Videos I'm working on :
Hot Girl Tonight - New AI Music Video 2024 - ua-cam.com/video/cbisB6jdNNk/v-deo.html
We Go!! DA-NA-NA / She's A Headbanger - ua-cam.com/video/3MzIz7cvO2Y/v-deo.html
Thanks for sharing!
Pushing towards a 700 usd class , ok you are FREE to PAY? and none of those programs is free ... why misleading, i am very disapointed honestly
Many of these tools have a freemium model. Did you try these free tier?
Luma Lab’s Dream Machine is okay....and the results are NOT absolutely mind blowing.
We appreciate the perspective!
It doesn't know how the famous people look like😢
What do you mean?
Man all the current ai video generators suck oh so, so damn much. I'm a serious ai art and video enthusiast for the future, ai art is currently amazing but my god do the videos suck hard. Only sora and veo for the future seem great, all the rest are terrible without exception including this one
Have you had a chance to use sora?
We think Gen3 and Luma are quite good!
Dream machine link in the description box doesn't work
Thanks we'll try and fix it!
Luma Lab’s Dream Machine Sucks BAD, VERY BAD I have been trying to generate a video and i have been waiting 4 hours ago current time of this typing Comment. some times it takes 7 Hours of more! and they want me to pay for that shit! HELLLL NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! people i am telling you RIGHT NOW Don't waste your time with it, NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!
It's true, the early generation times were so, so, so long!
basically never using Adobe again then
We understand the sentiment!
Aaaah, is there actually any truly free tool here, what is actually avaible, without a 10 year waitlist? I got tired of the clockbait and the fantasy-king of these tools. I wonder why Sora isn't here, because that also unavailable to public. 😢
Unfortunately these tools are always in hot demand so it's very common to have a waitlist. Also, in order for these companies to survive they typically roll out a free model. So long as you are okay with the wait, you can continue to use the free version(s)!
Say basically one more time...
What do you mean?
went to try lumaAI and of course, I can't get a video to generate, when trying to download it says it does not exist, just my luck.
At the beginning it took many hours :(
how can i access the tool?
It's available to everyone now :)
where is the guy entering portal?
What do you mean
Cool, but way way way way to expensive
True, the tiers are quite expensive. We'll have to use the free plan for now!
biggest issue is local generation isnt taking off. make a video of local generation.
These models are still massive, and consumer-grade hardware can't even run them unless you have a $20-30k machine to run them on.
In 2-3 years when the AI-dedicated chips start to come out (NPUs) which will most likely replace GPUs and/or CPUs entirely, anyone will be able to have anything they want.
@@OnigoroshiZero you can make video with most image models now... only issue is its not consistent. and your argument for cost is based on the business sale... you can buy tesla m/p series cards that work just fine on any model...
That takes quite a bit of hardware but we can see what we can do!
Rendering so worth the wait
:)
Question? Dave Clark always wanted to make a slave movie? and you thought this was ok to promote on your platform like it's a cool Ai video? Shame on you and whoever said this was appropriate.... I'm not angry at you just disappointed do better next time and tell Dave Clark the Ancestors are not pleased next time do a movie on your race and leave ours alone. Peace and Blessings
We appreciate your perspective.
This video is made using lumalabs engine:

Thanks for sharing!
6:40 Are you it is generated?
I'm not AI generated, haha!
499,00 is not free where i come from wTF
What do you mean?
this are not generated scenes its movies. stop the cap
We trust creatives will use these tools to help make their movie, and not consider the tool itself as a movie generator.
I see no download link.
You can find it at the website :)
If you wanna be really entertained and have the laugh of your life, DONT skip the AD, TRUST ME!! QUANTUM JUMPING! GIVE THOSE PEOPLE AN AWARD!!! IS it just the dumbest scam ever or next nevel Satire??
Interesting, we'll have to check into the ad placements on here.
I tried it, it sux.
I hate videos like this for hype, so misleading this website produces trash videos
To each their own :)
Thank you Team
Thanks for watching!
great video
Thanks!
Ok, Luma is quite good, but it is far from what we have seen from Sora. It is better than Runway or Pika labs, nevertheless.
how much better than runway and pika labs? I tried it a long time ago, but I forgot what those are like.
Anything is better than Runway.
And now with Runway Gen 3, things have really got interesting!
Are you getting payed for each "basically" word been said? lol
Hahaha, our bad!
Killer 🔥
We think so too!
Hi. Do you have an enail
Yes! Feel free to contact us at our website at curiousrefuge.com
It takes too much time
True, takes a while!
Just tell me when I can unwoke movies and TV shows and turn them into something watchable.
You can make your own 'unwoke' movies with these tools :)
Wow you are calling everything 'amazing' 😂 Actual 35mm camera footage is amazing.
"I would say the resolution is not perfect at this point"
Not perfect? 😅 It's all so supper undefined and mushy how it looks. There's no real detail, anywhere. And that's probably after running it through topaz.
We appreciate your perspective!
nice clickbait man
Sorry you feel that way. We come out with the latest news every week.
Lol where the f is your video you are generating how we know what that ai can do if you are not showing results
What do you mean?
No. It cost time
In that case....everything does?
